Oh soop that’s good news on both counts. Campbeltown and the good scan result. A bit of respite before the op. All good.

I am so very sorry. My computer has died on me. Am having to use MacS's and am in a bit of a pickle. Just wanted to open this new kitchen and try to catch up later.
Oh soop that’s good news on both counts. Campbeltown and the good scan result. A bit of respite before the op. All good.
Oh soop, that’s good news on both counts. Campbeltown and the scan result. A bit of respite before the op, too
All good. x
Busy ipad!
Good news Soop but so disappointing Ann. Thinking of you both.
I went into a supermarket today! I did the click and collect but then had to take a return parcel to a different supermarket. I put on my mask and had a lovely little wander, collecting bits and pieces. I also bought some flowers - not had any since easily May!
This is the Granddog, enjoying DH’s chair! She is a lurcher and can sleep for England!
Puzzler I could easily lie beside that gorgeous baby and we could fall asleep together. Does she like cuddles?
Morethan I have only just caught up with the news of you daughter-in-law's death on Monday. My heartfelt condolences. It was good to hear she died peacefully in the end.
Your post telling of the last months was heartbreaking but rest assured you and her family did everything you could to make her illness easier to bear and there is absolutely no need for you to feel any guilt. You have been away above and beyond what could be expected of a mother-in-law/grandma/mother. I am sure your kindness and love will continue to sustain all around you so please do take good care of yourself.
Love and prayers to you and your family
Nannytopsy I love your roses - are they in a cloud of “baby’s breath”?
Your pet dog looks as energetic as my cat! What lives they lead? They must have many dreams as they sleep so much.
Charley She doesn’t like cuddles, but when she lies by me at night she lets me hold near the end of her tail and we often fall asleep like that. I’m aware that will sound bizarre to others - only a pet lover would understand ?
If your furry lodger allows you, please post a photo of her.
Puzzler I would love to but I am not tech savvy at all.
A couple of days ago I woke up with Tara taking over most of my pillow and her black tail draped nonchalantly over my face. Until I realised what was happening for a split second I thought I was being smothered. Tara loves cuddles but will never sit on my lap.
TOYA
I've been absent for a while with pooter problems and spent a good while reading all the posts.
Morethan I am sorry to hear of your sad loss but glad that your daughter in law went peacefully. My heartfelt condolences to you, your son and grandchildren.
soop I'm glad that you won't have to travel so far and good news on the scan. Please take things easy for a bit now.xx
Poor Hattie has been through the mill, she is so lovely Maw. I'm sure that she will pick up soon.. I love seeing her photos.
We are having a new patio laid in the back garden, delayed because of lockdown, should be finished tomorrow.
TOYA. ?
Yes Puzzler, gypsophila.
Thank you for the photos Nannytopsy the dog looks gorgeous and so relaxed - the flowers are beautiful and they do brighten up the day. I did my shopping this morning and forgot to look for flowers - doh!
Take care everyone today and I’ll bring some mincemeat cake along to the kitchen later with some hot cups of tea.
Lots of love to you all x
I am beyond fond of you lovely lot, that's soppy talk over and done with for today.
Ann I too am disappointed for you. Any further updates? We're rooting for you.
Welcome back, Lins. Pooter probs are a buggeration. I sympathise.
Nannytopsy Awww! Your Granddog is a beauty. Her portrait has been added to our Kitchen gallery.
The flowers are stunning. I like the colour combination and gypsophila always adds a delicate finishing touch. My late Nana loved it.
Granddaughter has written an interesting email. Her baby is due next month and she has been to hospital with what turns out to be Bell's Palsy. Her meds are working well. She was also diagnosed, as a child, with a hole in her heart. It now transpires that her unborn baby has a small hole in his/her heart that will be closely monitored.
Here are two photos that show Mila, our great granddaughter (and big sister-to-be) with middle son, her grandpa.
Thank you soop, our internet signal is dodgy so I'm posting now while I can. It may be our phone line which is to blame, BT coming on Tuesday. DH was ages on the phone trying to get hold of them this morning.
Mila is a delight. It is a good thing that your dgd's baby has been detected so early, the medical staff will take the utmost care of them both xx
Hope Hattie and Maw had a good night, haven't read the GM thread due to lack of signal.
I have made a chocolate cake for us all to share, we need a treat. Love and hugs to those in need of them, the sun has just shown its face here, hope the sun shines where you are ??
Gorgeous picture of Mila and her grandpa Soop. You have strong genes!
Maw,hoping Hattie is continuing to improve.
The cake looks delicious Lins.I have just made a cake for DH.Can’t eat any myself as I am diabetic so am feeling pretty virtuous ?
Not much going on here.We looked after little B on Tuesday while DD2 worked and I am going to see my mum tomorrow with DD1 and the children.
We have more or less sorted the house during lockdown. We moved here 12 years ago and we have finally finished sorting and decorating. It took being locked down to do it!
Am going to wander to the veg plot now to get some veg to go with our evening meal.I love this time of harvesting our homegrown produce.
TOYA
soop Mila is growing so much and she is such a pretty young lady. She was w a baby in arms about three days ago!
Lins I should not be telling you this but I intend taking the cake to this abode. What the rest did not miss, will not worry them!
Susan I hope Henry is as bright as a button again and all of the buggerations are far behind him.
MawB another who is hoping Hattie is resting her eyes because she wants to and not because she is in pain. With luck, the antibiotics will have kicked in.
TOYA
Hope you enjoy Charley, I won't breathe a word.
Charleyg Play fair...I've already cut a huge slice of Lins fabulous cake for myself. In fact, I've virtually eaten it.
Susan enjoy harvesting your home-grown veggies. They will taste all the better because you have nurtured them from seed.
Maw What is the latest news regarding our Hattie?
I have done what you have all been suggesting that I do for yonks: nothing. Apart from emailing, I have been utterly slothful. Am I ashamed? Nope. See, you lot must take the blame.
Dear soop, sending you a pic of your tree. We call it ‘soop’s tree now, not the lollipop tree!
Is not long since it had its haircut but it will be having a short back and sides on Monday. I’ll send you a photo when it’s baldy! The little men nearby your tree are Glastonbury Tor cricketers which were a birthday present for my DH a few years ago.
Have a good rest, no ironing or gardening by order of your kitcheners. ❤️❤️❤️
soop, see you later at The Argy... It’s Doodles cow girl nite
Carillion I want that tree. It is a winner in every sense. Your garden is soooooo neat.
Ours isn't. However, you lot have forbidden me to work in it for the time being.
As for Doodle's cow girl night...I shall be contributing a chunky Texan who goes by the name of Hank. He's on his way. He's wearing a ten gallon hat. The rest is to be a surprise.
I'm off-line until tomorrow. There may still be lunch time's washing up to do.
Who knows. I've been a very laid-back lady all day long. Some might even call me a lazy mare. I don't care. So there.
TOYA and thank you for your company.

Cake, Lins? - you do have some good ideas !
I shall decline because I have gone off the rails, relaxed in the garden and eaten a Magnum. There, confession.
Lovely photos on here, always so interesting. Love that pretty laid-back cat, Puzzler and Granddog, NannyT. We have a similarly coloured failed French hunting dog, Chloé, who is long overdue for The Gallery - she tells me.
Hope so much that little Hattie is improving daily, MawB Someone (*soop*) needs to tell me where Mila has her highlights done. They look so beautiful.
Missing lots of people today. Hope they are just having some R & R before returning to the Kitchen.....make sure you are taking care of yourselves, Doodle, Cherry Dreamkeeper, Izabella and clearly other important souls whom I have forgotten - just until I post this message, of course!
My DH has just taken delivery of a very heavy box containing endless curry spices and good things to make Indian and Sri Lankan meals. We are happy eating dishes from anywhere in the world, but we won't give up the ability to make curries when we want. And finding exactly what we need has always been quite difficult here in France. So, a very big plastic box on wheels is stored in the garage and contains everything needed. I don't have full time space in my kitchen for a cupboard that is just Little India !
Love your beautiful lollipop tree, Carillon. They're really popular in France and such pretty colours.
It's G&T time, so off out to the steamer chairs we go.....where we'll all be bullied by the swooping Swallows. Everyone has a pool all around us, but for some reason we appear to be right under the flight path! Ah well. Could be a lot worse....at least our water's free - which matters when those little birds scoop up as much as they do.
Have a lovely evening everyone and remember the two words K...S... which mean you have to look after yourselves.
So pleased you have done nothing today, soop. Congratulations, this must be a first?!
As my Hairdresser always says, Ciao, Allez, Bye Bye !
Hugs x
Poor little Hattie has been admitted to the vets for blood tests and rehydration on a drip.
She will transfer to doggy hospital this evening and stay until tomorrow or even Sunday .
A couple of serious kidney diseases have now been ruled out and I am feeling much more positive.
Thanks for all good wishes ??
Poor Hattie and poor you.
I had missed she was ill.
Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.
Oh Maw?poor little Hattie but good she is getting the treatment she needs and that the serious kidney diseases have been ruled out.
Thinking of you and sending ??to both of you??
