Which was does your toilet paper hang, we hang ours front facing, never from back,

Front facing here. I don't bother with pointy bits, it is used too often to fiddle around folding points!

We always have a large stash of loo rolls (health problem), I bought 250 at the start of lockdown, have about 50 left now.

Having worked in the t/t industry and learned that there are millions of invisible germs on a wall, it's front facing every time for me!

I have a thing about toilet rolls. If I come across a rear facing one I have to turn it round, even ? in someone else’s house! I can’t bear to leave it at the back. Very rude I know but it’s the only little foible I can’t seem to damp down!

A bone of contention in this house!

I was brought up to hang the roll with the open end against the bathroom wall. That way it made less noise when you tore off the paper.

DH was brought up to hang it the other way round.

Compromise: Downstairs, he wins, as he usually uses that toilet. Upstairs I win.
