Thanks Luckygirl - that was interesting but she kept waving the candle around so I wonder how accurate it was. It would have been a better test if the candle had been on a table top so that it stayed still and she had knelt down to be at the right level for it.

Indeed - it is not cutting edge science, but I found it interesting.
