I love this morning , especially when Ruth and Eamonn are on. Don’t mind loose women now and again

Lunchtime news. If there is anything interesting in Parliament I watch the Parliament channel. Otherwise I only watch daytime tv if I’m ill.

Sun Sea and Selling houses I love both the families but the Garners are my favourite I'd love to know where Sandra the mother buys her clothes from she wears some beautiful tops ?

songstress60 Fri 17-Jul-20 08:53:33

I like Holly and Phil, Doctors, but I can't bear the replacement to doctor "The Heights". Puerile drivel.

Naninka Fri 17-Jul-20 08:55:09

We both WFH so meet up in front of Bargain Hunt at 12.15 for lunch! Hate Loose Women... they are smug, over made-up and b0llox$.

Naninka Fri 17-Jul-20 08:55:42

That should be talk B.

Patticake123 Fri 17-Jul-20 08:56:00

We always watch the 1.0pm BBC News and until recently it was followed by Doctors. They are off air at the moment and I really look forward to their return.

Camelotclub Fri 17-Jul-20 08:57:14

Dangerfield!

polnan Fri 17-Jul-20 09:01:32

I don`t sit and watch morning tv , have it on for company, sound

o.k. I like Minder and Sweeney
oh and the Professionals,, love the actors,, they are sort of "friends" just their voices and appearance, not so much the story line

MarieEliza Fri 17-Jul-20 09:04:42

I watch Neighbours, yes it’s embarrassing to admit but I visited Australia and went on the famous Neighbours tour. It was great fun and took a peek behind the scenes. All good escapist stuff. ?

Nannapat1 Fri 17-Jul-20 09:05:01

Used to be Doctors, but it's having a break, so it's Neighbours now. I don't like game shows with the exception of Pointless or those breakfast chat shows. I sometimes find a film to watch.

LynW Fri 17-Jul-20 09:06:38

Tanith - they say never judge a book by its cover. Sometimes the apparently ‘rubbish’ contestants or team are brighter than they look!

JennyCee Fri 17-Jul-20 09:07:11

Don’t watch it during the day.
Could do without TV but NOT without radio 4!
Having said that can’t bear to listen to The Archers now
It’s awful, and will not be going back to is when all is normal

Coconut Fri 17-Jul-20 09:10:57

I only watch am: TV when it’s Ruth and Eamonn. I do like Loose Women depending on who is on the panel. Not into any soaps at all .... but my obsession is Hawaii FiveO !!

NannyDaft Fri 17-Jul-20 09:11:02

I love the Chase and Bargain Hunt !

honeyrose Fri 17-Jul-20 09:11:16

I like Homes under the Hammer. Have seen most of them before, but I find it strangely comforting! It’s part of my morning routine now. Also like Escape to the Country and Home is where the Art Is which follows it. Oh dear - looks like i’m watching too much tv!

Iam64 Fri 17-Jul-20 09:12:45

I never watch day time tv. It usually goes on at 7pm for Ch4 news.
Like JennyCee I'm a radio 4 listener, though I'm becoming a radio 5 fan as well. Emma Barnett in the morning is good. I've given up the Archers, occasionally catch a bit when I'm driving or forget to turn the radio off after the world at 1. Its a real reminder of how depressing lock down can be

Grannyguitar Fri 17-Jul-20 09:14:14

Daytime TV is God's way of telling you to get a life!

Kartush Fri 17-Jul-20 09:27:43

Our tv doesn’t go on until 5pm so I have no idea what is on daytime tv

Davida1968 Fri 17-Jul-20 09:29:47

"Homes under the Hammer" - easy & interesting, when I need a break. Also the "overseas" property hunts.

Theoddbird Fri 17-Jul-20 09:30:37

Love Home is Where the Art is. Also Bargain Hunt.

f77ms Fri 17-Jul-20 09:33:30

I only watch things I've pre recorded. I cant stand quiz programmes or soaps and there are so many. So much dross on tv!

missdeke Fri 17-Jul-20 09:34:44

I love the quizzes, but can't watch Tipping Point, for some reason I find it unbearably irritating. I think it's the continuous use of names at the the end of every sentence. Who on earth says sameone's name at the end of every sentence when you're talking to them. Loose Women is better without the audience (thanks lockdown), all that ridiculous whooping, what happened to clapping for appreciation.

hicaz46 Fri 17-Jul-20 09:35:59

Old reruns of Escape to the Country.

Shazmo24 Fri 17-Jul-20 09:38:03

Has to be Doctors when it's on but I seem to have becone slightly addicted to Dangerfield on Drama with Nigel de Valiantt

olliebeak Fri 17-Jul-20 09:39:43

Four In A Bed - though some of the business owners get so childishly petty!

Judge Judy - put her in charge of OUR justice system please!

Judge Rinder - jazz hands a-plenty!

I quite like Loose Women - depending on who's in the studio. There's a couple of them who drive me to 'press the off-button'.

Repeats of the 'older series' of Midsomer Murders - the ones with John Nettles in charge.
