Unfortunately I live in area which is at risk of another lockdown due to some spikes in some work places just hope the outdoor theory helps keep it low ,.

I doubt there will be hulahoop. There were no spikes in Liverpool following their winning the Champions League several weeks ago; no spikes following the "half a million" people at the seaside in Dorset during the gorgeous weather we had; no spikes due to the pubs re-opening two weeks ago, etc.

The last big spike due to an outdoor event was at Cheltenham horse racing, and that was in the days when the virus was a lot more virulent.

Maybe I'm being over-optimistic, but it really does seem to be on the way out. Hope so, anyway.

Just seen sports news can't believe even though they were asked not to go the fans shouting, singing and hugging each other very few were wearing masks , the reporters didn't seem bothered about it either ,I hope there isn't a spike in Leeds now.
