Crafty one why would it slip down? Do you have a very tiny nose ?

yes, I am well stashed here. I even bought butter to freeze. If I have to wear a face covering, it will slip down over my nose when I am in the shop, I am neither a sheep, anxious, brain washed or scared

Don’t let your mask slip down over your nose! gringrin

What the .... but don’t just blame the youngsters I ve met a good few (mostly older men) not up for it
It’s going to be fun tomorrow in our shop if any don’t want to wear them because we have instructions not to challenge anyone who won’t wear one so basically we can ask them to but if they say no that’s it
Daft daft ruling again needs to be all or nothing everything has been so darned woolly all the way through

I can't understand why people are making such a fuss either. It is something to help protect yourself and others from what could be a fatal illness, what is their problem. I have been wearing a mask since we were first allowed out after shielding..... for my DH sake not mine, he has COPD. I have a pack of three reusable masks and one is always in my bag and the car the other in the wash.

I’m ignoring all rubbish government guidelines and listening to the scientists.

Been wearing masks since March. Not that I frequent enclosed public spaces if I can avoid them.

I agree Ellianne, I'm genuinely baffled. I have chronic lung disease, but I was wearing one as long as a month ago for a hospital visit. It was a condition of receiving treatment.
It wasn't comfortable, but I managed to wear it for four hours, while I was receiving treatment.

Surely wearing a mask for a short time in a shop is not a great hardship?
Hardship is being on a ventilator in ICU!

Why not even 10 days ago *Marydoll"? Everyone knew this was likely to happen. It wasn't that difficult to procure a mask and wear it to show respect for shopkeepers. I'm baffled too.

Aren’t they silly, Kittylester ?
But of course they know that the virus is completely harmless until 23.59 when, like Cinderella’s coach turning into a pumpkin, it will somehow become lethal.

Youngsters can teach us a thing or two can’t they? (Answers on a postage stamp)

Sorry but are we turning into a nation of spoilt brats or what? Such a fuss about wearing a mask! Other countries have been wearing masks from the off.(which of course we should have been but that’s another story)

(Harris not a go at you you may well have your reasons) But this whingeing is fairly widespread

Marydoll Thu 23-Jul-20 07:52:12

I don't understand this waiting until tomorrow to wear a mask until tomorrow, when it is compulsory in England.
If masks are thought to helpful in stopping the virus, why not start wearing the mask voluntarily in shops today??
It baffles me. Surely we should be trying our best to stop this virus?

Yes I will then it’s online shop for me.

kittylester Thu 23-Jul-20 07:46:08

I was talking to my niece yesterday and she was telling me about lots of her friends hitting the shops before they are condemned to shopping in a mask.

Will you?
