The best news! ? So happy for her and you MawB2

I hope Ann’s cat makes her way back home none the worse for her absence. ?

soop Tue 22-Sept-20 17:48:33

Maw and Hattie the best news with which to close the day. I am delighted for you both. flowers

Nicola has stopped Scots visiting each other's homes (for the time being). Our only treat since March has been a short visit to blether with our two best friends in the village. I am feeling sad. I will recover. It's what we do.

All good wishes to you lovely lot. smile moon

GrannyGravy13 Tue 22-Sept-20 17:38:49

MawB2 what a relief Hatties results ???

Marydoll Tue 22-Sept-20 17:12:42

Maw, I'm so glad to hear your news. ?

MawB2 Tue 22-Sept-20 17:04:36

Just to say Hattie’s scans show no tumours- my greatest fear, but look at her poor tummy!
Perhaps she needs a woolly jumper?
Waiting for the vet to ring to discuss where we take it rom here, but Hattie has been so much better over the last few days I am tempted to do a “wait and see” with regular urine checks. See what the vet says, she is very understanding.

Dear Charleyg wishing you a VERY happy birthday. Push the proverbial boat out, as "they say". Tara will be well aware that you are in celebratory mood. She will make sure that she is not forgotten. wink

Ann Oh dear! When a pussy cat goes awol, time stands still. I trust that your friends have better news to share with you sometime soon.

Susan I love the name - Barnaby. It's a favourite of mine. I shall look into the company you mention. Thank you x

Doodle Tyke! grin

Grandmafrench Due to swollen knuckles on my right hand (the one that has been pulling up garden debris recently), I cannot venture into the great outdoors to do more this after. Instead, for my sins, I have a Ben Nevis of ironing to clear. Should I watch the latest news from the PM? hmm Think not. It will be hammered into us several times throughout the day. Let joy continue to be unconfined.

anno Get planting. grin

corner Enjoy your National Trust walk. Sounds like a very sensible plan. We've been walking through the peaceful lanes of our lovely village. Did a lot of waving. No chatting. I do not enjoy this crazy situation that we're all duty bound to observe. As MacS keeps reminding me...it is what it is. So...

Puzzler Your flower arrangements are always a treat for the senses.

Welcome FannyCornforth. Pull up a chair and chill.

NanaandGrampy Tue 22-Sept-20 13:06:21

Just popped in to wish you many happy returns Charley I hope Tara is treating you well and you enjoy the best of days .

From all of us - I can tell the little boys and they will happily sing Happy Birthday for you !! Xx

GrannyGravy13 Tue 22-Sept-20 11:43:58

Happy Birthday Charleygirl ???

Grandmafrench Tue 22-Sept-20 11:38:04

Ann sorry you've slept badly and had lots of worry. Tell your family not to give up. I had a little cat disappear, for absolutely no reason. She was used to being outside, she was a creature of habit like most cats and we made extensive enquiries everywhere, to try to determine what had happened to her. One afternoon, after two long weeks, I was sitting outside on the terrace speaking to my Mum on the 'phone, and my cat walked through the rose bed, across the terrace and straight into the kitchen. I thought it was a mirage. I shrieked with excitement. She had no marks on her, she wasn't thin, she didn't have sore paws, she looked just fine. Where had she been? We'll never find out. Sometimes they just do that. If the cat is not 'on the roadside' somewhere, you can always hope.

Grandmafrench Tue 22-Sept-20 11:33:09

Have a truly wonderful Birthday, Charleygirl and some fun with your friends. ( You know, a bit of normal life ! grin)

You've reached ALL the 7's ? Blimey, no wonder Doodle is on standby with the Fire Brigade. Have the happiest of days! x

Can’t stop, in a rush but just wanted to pop in and say Happy Birthday Charleygirl. Hope you have a great day with Your friends. ???? ? ? (Fire engine on standby for the candles ? ?)

annodomini Tue 22-Sept-20 10:24:15

A very Happy Birthday to you, Charley. Have a lovely day. It's a beautiful, albeit autumnal, morning, gentle sunlight on the bronze foliage of my big acer which will soon turn crimson. I've had several plants at very reasonable prices from W***** so have to find the right places for them, plus 25 allium bulbs to plant. So why am I hanging around here?

kittylester Tue 22-Sept-20 10:22:14

Many happy returns, Charley. Have super day.

Greyduster Tue 22-Sept-20 09:15:58

Happy Birthday, Charley! ???Hope you have a lovely day. DH reaches all his sevens last week too!

Bellanonna Tue 22-Sept-20 09:06:41

Cornergran, just like you I planted bulbs in tubs yesterday, grateful that I didn’t have to bend too far. Something to look
forward to in the Spring.

Grandmabatty Tue 22-Sept-20 08:57:18

Happy birthday to Charleygirl. Toddler wrangling at the moment so I will return later.

Bellanonna Tue 22-Sept-20 08:55:42

MANY HAPPY RETURNS, CHARLEYGIRL
Enjoy your coffee meeting and have a lovely, relaxing day.
?????

annsixty Tue 22-Sept-20 08:54:31

Happy Birthday Charley ??
The wanderer has not returned, they are all very upset.

Corner you were posting at approximately 3:30am while I was also skimming so I know you must be very tired, go carefully today.
I am lucky in that I can stay here in bed until whatever time I like.
I do wish it wasn’t necessary though.
My borrowed wheelchair is being delivered today, yet another thing I wish wasn’t necessary.

Have as good a day as you can everyone.

Puzzler61 Tue 22-Sept-20 08:32:49

For you Charleygirl x

Puzzler61 Tue 22-Sept-20 08:29:06

Happy Birthday to You Charley ? ? ☀️ ? ? ?

Charleygirl5 Tue 22-Sept-20 08:23:45

This is a day when I have reached all of the sevens- I have no idea how. I am having coffee out with three Macular friends this am and being taken out for lunch on Sunday. My life is galloping past.

Thankfully my gums have settled down- it is now a waiting game, the story of my life.

I do hope that cat comes home ann.

We will be moving soon- I must pick up my belongings from the kitchen.

TOYA

cornergran Tue 22-Sept-20 03:58:07

A (very early) good morning to you all. Nothing wrong. My inner clock seems to be in a different time zone for the last few days. .

Did the wandering cat wander back ann? The independence of cats makes them worrisome companions at times.

Hope you manage North Wales nannytopsy, we are in uncertain time, hard to plan anything. There seems one worry after another. I did smile today when I read that traffic was permitted to flow freely along the M4 through the restricted Welsh areas. Mr C knows South Wales well and began to tell me where he thought it ideal to ambush straying motorists. Apologies if that offends anyone, Mr C and I share an odd sense of humour. We were also pondering the legality of visiting our far from well friend who lives in a restricted area, don’t think we can, it feels a pressure as she often needs help. Oh well, see what the next announcements bring.

Your sunset photo is as beautiful as ever, soop, food for the soul.

You put me to shame grandmafrench, not a hope of that much domestic activity in cornerland, ever. blush. I have planted bulbs though, in tubs this year as it seems the ground gets further from my hands every day.

National Trust garden walk planned for this morning, I truly should try to sleep or I may be sleep walking round smile

Bit of a busy week ahead so although I may not get back to see you all definitely TOYA. Be good and stay safe.

Bellanonna Mon 21-Sept-20 23:14:22

I hope it works out for you Nannytopsy. Hopefully the North of the country will be ok.
Those buzzing flies are a pain. They are so fast. It takes ages to get them. Sleep well!

Nannytopsy Mon 21-Sept-20 23:10:28

Good evening everyone. FannyCornforth good evening to you - I don’t recognise the name, so welcome if you are new? Bad news about the gin ann!
Sciatica much better thank you - it comes and goes with no rhyme or reason.
Nervously awaiting Boris’s announcement tomorrow - we have booked a short trip to North Wales next week. ?
DH is currently chasing noisy flies around the bedroom - this could take a while ...
Sleep well everyone!
