My music teacher at school many years ago was Miss Frost, she married someone called Glass. And my hairdresser, Renee Moon, married a man who`s surname was Rocket.

I once went out with a butcher called Gammon

There was a dentist near where I used to live in London called Dr Phang.

There's a solicitors' firm called Wright Hassall. I hope they don't live up to their name!

I had a hospital appointment for a colonoscopy, and when the appointment letter arrived, the consultant was a Dr Backholer.

Head of Education Transport Department many years ago was Rick Shaw!

My daughter’s orthopaedic consultant for her weak shoulder was Miss Armstrong.

A vetinary surgery near here some years ago employed Mr Turnbull, Mr Drake, Miss Otter and Miss Barks.

After WWII, there was a terrible shortage of housing. My mother saw an estate agent with the names “Waite, Waite and Hope”.
And my doctor until very recently was on a street called the Butchery, so was The Butchery Surgery!

Our surgery used to have doctors called Holmes and Moriarty.

Our Latin teacher was called Mrs Homer!

A local secondary school had Mr Bolt who taught Metalwork and Mrs Bakewell who taught Domestic Science.
