In fairness, how would we know anything about Prince Andrew without the press? The things he is alleged to have done may very well be true, and quite frankly, I believe them. The same is true of Meghan and Harry. Having said that, they court the press with their endless press releases, and friends press releases. We do know as fact that they have launched several legal cases. Andrew on the hand, appears to be trying to avoid any contact with the police or courts interestingly.

Dislike the way we are spoon fed .

But it is through the press & the media that we hear about them, & perhaps not in there entirety, a snippet here , a clip there ..... I don’t really have much interest , but I dondislike the way we are spoon feed by others.

Athough I have never been an avid follower of the RF, I couldn't help noticing the many reports I heard from conacts in the RN when he was younger. He wasn't called "Randy Andy" for nothing.

He always came across as very sleazy. and his marriage to kindred spirit Fergie didn't help.

I wonder the same when people use the press and “inside sources” to continually slate prince harry and his wife. The press is taken as gospel then.

His association with Epstein was dangerous and someone from his background should have been aware that the 'friendship' was carefully cultivated, for contacts and possible blackmail purposes. Epstein was a Machiavellian operator; I am quite sure Andrew would have been warned but perhaps this is where the arrogance comes in.

It’s this part of the documentary that sticks in my mind. But that’s not to take away from all of it.

Prince Andrew and that other lady are both a complete embarrassment. But if Prince Andrew did what he had been accused of, then he is worse than the other lady, in my opinion.

She’s just a pain in the neck who won’t shut up. Mind you, the attitudes are similar, a grandiose sense of self importance and entitlement.

I'm wary of documentaries. They are likely to be edited in such a way as to sensationalise the issues or they wouldn't be watched. They're all about money after all. Should it be shown at all? Is the matter not sub juice

Well a great deal of the documentary was focussed on the interviews with police and people leading an investigation into Epstein for years. I don't think they had to sensationalise anything - people recounting their stories said everything that needed to be said.

After he killed himself (or was knocked off, whatever), the judge allowed the women who were taking part in the court case to recount their stories in court because he felt it was so important they were heard. Epstein raped these girls and that is recognised in the States - the focus here on Prince Andrew means the horror of what he did has been lost.

From reports over the years it would appear that Prince Andrew is an arrogant man who has exploited his royal birth. He has made it very easy to think ill of him. None of us really know what went on and although I am no fan of his I think I will reserve my judgement until all the facts are known. The two princesses had, to say the least somewhat eccentric parents. They have taken heavy criticism over the years for their looks and their dress sense. They may or may not have obtained jobs through their royal connections. I know nothing of them other than what I read in the press which as we all now can be biased whichever way the reporter wishes. However there have been quotes over the years from “ordinary”people who have met them at Royal Garden parties and have said what delightful young ladies they are, who support their grandmother and have impeccable manners. They have never had public hissy fits or complained (unlike some!) for this their parents are to be congratulated. As a family they have stuck together through very troubled times, which can only be commended.

It seems to me that Fergie and Andrew have never been apart as a couple despite the divorce which was forced upon them due to the public airing of the to sucking incident. They are still a family.
