Hi all,
I am traumatised. It was disgusting. I feel sickenvy(not envy). X

Oh do we know where you come from FlyingHandbag ?!

Are you from Blackpool?

Is there still a circus there? I haven’t been there since 1958.
I am moving over to the warm beer thread now, cheeerio.

Aah it reminds me of the time when we were in Lanzarote & I purchased a small packet of Himalayan pink salt. It was in amongst the olive oils, vinegar etc so when we got home I popped it the pantry.
A couple of weeks later my daughter was literally "foaming at the mouth" having put some on her salad.
It was of course bath salts! It was a measly sized packet & you wouldn't have had much of a soak with those.

MissAdventure

Yes.
You can often find a stool in the bathroom. X

???

Make sure to wash your feet afterwards.

Bathsheba Wed 12-Aug-20 10:14:49

Make sure to wash your feet afterwards.

You could use the bidet grin

Callistemon Wed 12-Aug-20 10:17:04

Difficult, it's in the attic, not plumbed in ?

Callistemon Wed 12-Aug-20 10:18:38

Come to think of it, that's what I used to do. Perch on the loo, (lid down) and cut my toenails over the bidet.
Isn't that what bidets are for? Unfortunately it never got put back when the bathroom was altered.

Thanks for your lovely messages!! That's amazing about the pub in Blackpool, I didn't know that. I picked my name as I often fall and drop my handbag (and send it flying). X

Morning FH! Have you thought of using a cross body bag? It would, perhaps, help you to save yourself when you fall rather than trying to save your handbag!? It's instinct (well, with me anyway!) to save what you're carrying rather than yourself! ??

Morning! I've tried crossbody bags but find them too small, I have a few normal bags with long straps that I carry across myself if I know I'm likely to fall. X

No, I work half-days in an office, but the type of job I have can't be carried out at home. X

They come in various sizes! I have an assortment - Tiny for just my phone, keys and tissues and Large for plenty of bits and pieces and even a small amount of shopping.

Do your bigger ones have handles as well as a long strap? Mine do. X

How much sugar does everyone take? I took three for years, then I started to feel tired a lot, so took FIVE!!! for around 6 months then realised I was going to end up diabetes, so went back to three. X

Oopsadaisy3 Wed 12-Aug-20 13:42:11

FB you shouldn’t be having any sugar in drinks AT ALL, please try to stop.

So you get regular health checks?

Oopsadaisy3 Wed 12-Aug-20 13:42:21

Do not so.....

I get regular check ups, yes. What's wrong with sugar in tea? X

FlyingHandbag Wed 12-Aug-20 13:49:21

I don't have Diabetes by the way, I thought I would end up with it if I didn't stop having so much sugar. Sorry if that was unclear. X

DiscoGran Wed 12-Aug-20 14:12:42

Flying, have a nice beer instead. You don't need to add sugar, although you could have a dash of lime or a lemonade top. ? X

MawB Wed 12-Aug-20 14:13:11

So are you posting from the office Flying Handbag?
Norty !
(As your posts seem to come at all hours of the day)
Better not get caught - most employers are not happy about staff wasting work time on social media. hmm

Lisagran Wed 12-Aug-20 14:17:37

Are your work mates nice FlyingHandbag? I hope you have as wonderful time at work as you seem to have at home! (With perhaps fewer accidents grin). Is it interesting work? Will you be retiring soon, or have you only just started the job?

X

I feel some posters on her are not very nice or polite to you Flying yet I have not seen you retaliate.
That tells me more about what a nice person you are, and it’s disappointing that others don’t appear to have your nice traits.
