I’ll go and dig up some sand from the builders yard round the back of the alley later on ( midnight...at the oasis?).

We will need some volunteers for belly dancing.
I will bring a paddling pool for the oasis.

I asked the llamas if they would be camels for the night but they got the hump.

More seven bellies than seven veils in my case but gives a nice cascading effect.

I have looked for harem pants online but they don't do them in a 60 inch hip. I will make some out of curtains I stole borrowed from Lemongrove Hall when I was laying a patio for Lemon.

So thats where my drawing room curtains went!
Am hoping AGA and Chewbacca will be dancing girls on the Nite, belly dancing is their speciality ( you do need a belly for it) am sure their act will bring the house down, particularly if they cavort on the tables.?

Have stored all the sand from O’Reilly’s building firm round in the back yard, covered with an old tarp ( the Admiral’s coat) actually.
I took a trip through the alleys at midnight to get the sand,

We can use last week’s old beanstalk for a palm tree.

Thor says he will dress as The Sheik...... and seduce us girls in his tent ( well, not a tent really, one of Doodles old party frocks,) but it’s big enough, we can peg it out in the cellar.?

lemon you could have let me get out of my dress before you started using it as a tent. I’m stuck in the middle now like a tent pole and Thor has tied my arms to the cellar posts to stabilise the tent . ?

All the men want to be Sheiks. They will get the shakes if they drink this new batch of poteen. Think I overdid it adding vodka and tabasco sauce with a good dose of castor oil.
Did we buy more toilet rolls btw?

Gloopy and I are doing another midnight run later on....to the zoo! We are going to liberate a camel for Arabian Nite.The plan is to dress in black, and carrying a torch and wire cutters
Break into the camel enclosure, jump on the back of one and then hightail it back to the bar.Wish us luck.

Tell the men they can’t all come as Sheiks, we do need variety.I think they’re being lazy and just want to dress in a sheet and clamp a teatowel on their heads.
The Admiral and Captain will dress in the uniforms of the French Foreign Legion, and Thor says he will come as a cactus....not strictly Arabian but never mind.

Achilles and me made a few cocktails this afternoon...

Sunset Sherbet.. chartreuse, pernod, Baileys and a dash of Flash.

Desert Delight...whisky, Vodka, Tizer, and hint of mint.

Sheik Rattle And Roll... brandy, Guinness, absinthe and a splosh of IrnBru.

As usual, I have lined up a few on the bar to try ?????
Am already hooked on Sunset Sherbet though!
Thor is setting up some hookahs on the tables ( wouldn’t be the first time)

Er lemon you know your trip to the zoo in the dark with Gloopy. I take it that things didn’t quite go according to plan.
Would you like to explain why we have yet another llama tied up outside with a pumpkin tied to his back?

Well, it was like this.....it was very very dark in the zoo and I had forgotten my specs, and Gloopy has never seen a camel in his life.We got the wrong enclosure! So we thought we could get away with a pumpkin on it’s back if we threw an old Persian rug over it, nobody would be any the wiser, voila! A camel......trust you to peek under the rug.?

What shall we call him?We have four llamas now...a herd, getting a bit much for the back yard.

Well we have Gnasher, Grasper, llama-clock and the final one (for the moment ?) we could call Humphrey coz he hasn’t really got one. What do llamas do? Do they lay eggs or can we milk them or shear them? Cum on lemon it’s not like you to miss a money making scheme ?

I don’t want to upset anyone but llamas might be nice with mint sauce or a bit of cranberry jelly.

Now there’s a thought! Roast llama/ camel, very Arabian,

I have created some nibbles to resemble sheep eyeballs, they are surprisingly lifelike!
The fire station crew will be in later, and the ships company will all be here, there’ll be so many teatowels on show it will be like a WI kitchen.

If we don’t actually eat the llamas, we could do camel racing with them, everyone likes a bet after all, and I could make a fortune by nobbling the favourite ( feeding it Soop’s scones beforehand!)
We’ll get everyone good and drunk and do the racing then,
Down the docks and back.
Doodle can I rely on you to race Gnasher ( give him a Sunset Sherbet just before the race) and only us will know that he’ll win for sure.Shshshshshsh......don’t say a word eh?
