Good morning Mick, Annie and all. I like the sound of your buses Mick
Firstly, many thanks for all the good wishes yesterday. DD rang at supper time and sang to us, after apologising for not sending a card. Bless her, she and her DH are so good to us.
It is overcast here, so I hope the rain holds off, as I am taking myself out and about today.
DH has an appointment for an endoscopy, and we don't know how long that will take. He is being driven by the local volunteer drivers scheme, who are a godsend for hospital visits. He has had a rough couple of years and it is taking it's toll.
MOMB, your walking trip sounds lovely, if wet, at the moment, but at least you wont get bitten by midges, or will you?.
A bit of curtain twitching sounds interesting Grandmattie, and a hot tub is just what I could do with right now.
Thank you Nortsat for the heads up about the proms. I was beginning to think we had missed Nicola Benedetti. I remember her from Young Musicians. Something to look forward to tonight.
Marydoll, are you feeling up to making tablet? You should still be taking things slow and steady. Not any consolation to you, but I saw the most beautiful, upcycled, sideboard in the local Hospice shop yesterday. It had been painted in a rich, dark blue, but had a Sold note on it.
Hoping that Gillybob is OK.
To all who are unwell, or not feeling great, have a virtual hug.
Have a good day one and all.
