I just found your site and wanted to introduce myself. I've been browsing for about a month now, and I'm excited to be joining this group. A little about me. I am from across the pond. I still work but hoping to retire soon, going thru yet another life change. I pop in infrequently due to not having internet at home, I love the honesty and diversity here. Many of my friends are raising their grandkids or are involved with them. I am not a gran myself so from that point cannot relate. I am young at heart in most things, old in others. It's great to say hello to you all. Hoping to hear from you soon.

Hello Kathi, there are several GN members from the USA and several who don't have grandchildren, so you aren't alone.
There are also several, myself included, who have family living in the States.

hello Kathi and welcome.
you may not wish to say where you live, but perhaps you can say whether it is town/city or country, coastal, prairie, mountainous, mild or extreme climate. hope no wildfires where you are. !
you don't have to be a gran; many of the topics are of general interest and experience.
this site is aimed at over 50s, probably for advertisers, but there are many young people also who join.
