What slogan would you print on a T shirt?

We were having a discussion today about those T-shirt’s that carried political/ ethical statements.
There seems to be so much going on today that is contentious that I would find it difficult to work out what my slogan would be.
Yesterday I read that the farms that provide many of our supermarkets with avocados are no respecters of human rights.
So today mine would have to feature their workers.
I think that I will need lots of new T-shirt’s, a problem in itself.

"I'm still standing".
(I was an extremely unwanted baby, but I showed 'em by living this long!)

DanniRae
I must admit I pinched it off Facebook a few years ago and used it as my profile picture. It made me smile. ?

Love that fiorentina - where can I get one? grin

I used to have one which asked "If witches are so dangerous, why do you insist on p***ing us off?"

'Jam first' . That is what is written on the hoodie my Californian DGD requested for Christmas. (I am in Cornwall.)

Already got mine...

That’s good Maw ?

Teenage DGS has loads of those t shirts, he was wearing one the other day that said:
In my defence, I was left unsupervised!
Another says :
I may be wrong but I doubt it.
Another says:
I may look as if I’m listening to you but in my head I’m gaming.

Me too, annodomini, I never make any declarations via clothing. I don't like drawing attention to myself.

annodomini Tue 10-Aug-21 18:29:37

No slogans on me. I don't wear my heart on my sleeve, and certainly not on my bosom.

Somebody has beaten me to it
Anybody else got three daughters or sons?

Witzend Tue 10-Aug-21 18:15:36

If I ever wore T shirts with slogans, I think I’d quite like this:

Witzend Tue 10-Aug-21 17:21:06

crimpedhalo

My friend had one with vultures saying...

Patience my arse, I want to kill something....

She wore it in supermarkets when queuing??

She was very posh.

This was in the 80's.

I love that!

Just realised this is an old post! Interesting to read the ones about wearing a mask .

Lollin Tue 10-Aug-21 14:34:31

Remember the car stickers “my other car’s a Jaguar” or rolls or whatever on a rust bucket?

I’d be tempted with “my other t shirt’s a size 10 rofl” but it’s not quite the same is it grin

Remember when cars used to rust!

I have one that I love, which says "Life Is Fragile - Handle With Prayer"

I also have one which is unfortunately accurate - "More Issues Than Vogue"

Then there's one which I gave to a friend - "Coffee - Because Murder Is Wrong" (It suited her!)

I have one given to me by a niece which reads “No F*cking Victim”. There’s a story behind it but I’m not sure I have the nerve to wear it out! It did make me laugh though, and was much appreciated at the time.

I bought one of my SILs one for Christmas. It said "I never dreamt I`d have such an awesome MIL, but here I am, living the dream". My husband bought one saying "I`m with this Wally," with an arrow pointing to the side. He always made sure the arrow pointed towards me!

"I want to be what I was
when I wanted to be
what I am now!"

Very late to this but " if you don't understand, then find out!"

Missingmoominmama Mon 19-Oct-20 10:44:49

I’m half tempted to get this for Halloween...

GagaJo Fri 16-Oct-20 20:18:28

That's irrelevant Nicegranny. It's my sweatshirt which expresses my opinion.

Nicegranny Fri 16-Oct-20 19:58:46

That wasn’t the opinion of the uk public. I’m sure he’s a nice guy as some friends met him and liked him but he wasn’t their chosen politician when it came to the vote.
Are any of them completely honest ?

My lovely Dad had a T shirt that said, ‘Follow me in the event of an emergency, I have a beard’. For this reason, amongst many others, he gained legend status...
