Bathtime!

We pass this Mahonia regularly if we walk along the river in our little town. I noticed it in spring lockdown and it made me smile then as it did today. I find it doesn’t take much to make me smile in these strange times....or to cry for that matter!

We have lost most of the leaves now. A slushy mess.
It would suit me to hibernate like a tortoise until about March!

I would probably have brought all of them home.
I went for 1 kitten once and there were 2 left in a litter.
I came home with both.

What a beautiful image. Harri. People like that are a real gift to any community, he will be sadly missed. There’s a lovely chap here who posts local photos every day on our community Facebook page. We all appreciate them, especially those who’ve been unable get out. His photos have inspired me to try harder!

This photograph is not mine but one from the photographer in our town who has just died of covid. His coastal scenes were uplifting at a time when I could not go out walking.

That’s a beaut, corner. We have one at the back of the garden clinging onto its last flowers. This was it in the summer. Wish I knew what it was called.

Sorry I had to hang out of the driver's seat to snap this one when passing. I just thought what a peaceful place to remember them.

Our hero rose this morning, the fourth time it’s bloomed this year.

Had a walk in one of our local parks yesterday and late afternoon the sun was struggling to put in an appearance.

Scraps from the garden after last night’s heavy rain.....

Thank you Ellianne. I’ve taken so many photographs of sheep over the years. The problem is that shepherds being very proud of their flocks they tend to pose as soon as they see a camera. Nice of them but it makes it hard to get a natural photograph.
