Today’s NT walk was in brilliant sunshine, a truly beautiful day.

We went for a walk today and DH said “what’s that bird on that fence post?” “It’s a pigeon” says I. But it wasn’t. It was this fellow, sitting minding his own business for quite a long time until I moved to get a side view of him, and he flew off☹️. A youngster I think.

Funny you should say that Ellieanne, the photos were actually taken near the house that was used as Helen’s house in the recent TV series! I’m sure I have a photo of it....somewhere.....! ??

The sun came out today, warm as summer and as if it knew, this Oriental Poppy, (three of them), has decided to bloom just in time for Poppy Day (if they can last that long)!!
