I think this site should be renamed ‘GAMESNET’ - I have literally just hidden 15 games threads.

There does seem to be a lot on here tonight Kandinsky! I aren't really interested, I just skip past them. They do seem to be popular though! I didn't know you could hide threads, thanks for the tip!

Go to the mobile site, click on a games thread, at the top is a red arrow, click. then click hide discussion. When you go back to desktop they are gone!

I wish they wouldn’t come up on the Active Threads at all.
Anyone who’s interested in them (obviously some people are) could just go straight to the Games forum.

Click on the actual thread and where you see the little circle ( top right ) click on that & you’re given a range of options - one of which is to hide the thread, only thing is you have to hide each thread individually.

So many of them I agree, I would enjoy some of the games but find it tedious going through pages of responses to make sure I am not duplicating an answer.

Well, I didn’t know it was possible to hide threads. Thank you for the tips. Do they need to be selected and hidden daily or are they gone forever?

Floradora if you’re on the desktop site you have to change to mobile to do it If you use the mobile site you have to change to desktop site

Really, with all due respect to the members who like the Games threads, wouldn’t it be so much better if those of us who don’t could just hide the whole forum? It’d be no big deal then to have to do it every day.

Drives me nuts too.

Bluebelle that is such a good idea separating the games from the rest. I may have played two games since joining many moons ago but they are taking over now in my opinion.

Really? Complaining about Games? Unbelievable! Why do I feel this undercurrent of superiority from this thread? I’ve just counted 202 threads on ‘Active’ to choose from. Why not, like I do, just scroll past the subjects you don’t like and ignore them? Why should they be separated just because a minority don’t agree with them or are annoyed by them? Could say the same about Politics or Knitting - or anything else for that matter.
