A slow cortisone injection into the wrist was more painful than the carpel tunnel pain it was treating

Oops Jane10 you can tell I've never watched it!

petra

They should have a dose of B12 pumped in every other month as I do. That hurts!!

That I can relate to as it's a very stinging injection.

I think that the Siddiqui brother explained the vaccine well. Can we have him as Prime Minister?

But it was about the last 19 series. We saw Paul Burrell and that awful Lady C among others as well as the original sets etc!

A bit off topic...people who say something blatantly unfunny and then laugh . Someone at work used to do that “ oh well nearly the weekend ..ha ha ha ha ha ha “. Irritated the whatnot out of me.
Sorry.

And another one on Googlebox (slightly off the topic of the OP)

The blonde girl said that the special episode of that Jungle thing was "highlights of the last 19 series".

Erm, no, highlights of the 2019 one!

Once upon a time I was on the giving end rather than the receiving. Either way I don't mind.

Skin like a rhinocerhorse, rhino.

Calendargirl Fri 13-Nov-20 21:39:34

“Oh, I don’t do needles!”

?‍♀️

EllanVannin Fri 13-Nov-20 21:39:07

And what's more ? It didn't hurt nor ache afterwards.
What did you say, where there's no sense etc. etc. ? grin

EllanVannin Fri 13-Nov-20 21:36:47

Didn't I just, phoenix ?

lemongrove Fri 13-Nov-20 21:36:29

I have heard friends say ‘ oh I don’t like hospital visiting’ and even ‘I really don’t like attending funerals’.....as if the rest of us just adore it.

phoenix Fri 13-Nov-20 21:34:50

Oh EllanVannin you really got lucky!

EllanVannin Fri 13-Nov-20 21:32:34

I like it best when it buckles and refuses to pierce the skin grin It did that when I had my 'flu jab---and bled down my arm.

Grannybags Fri 13-Nov-20 21:22:27

I'm always so excited when it's flu jab time - the thought of that needle going into my arm.....! grin

phoenix Fri 13-Nov-20 21:19:33

Or stupid things that some people say.

Tonight, on Googlebox: "Well, I won't be having the vaccine, because I don't like needles (or he may have said injections) "

Well of course, some people just love them, don't they? hmm
