Good morning all from a wet and windy Glasgow, at least its quite mild, 12 C.
Grandmattie, good to see you back. ? I must admit to having a touch of the .black dog myself recently. Its not fun.
Dragonfly, if its the same pill I used to take, you have my sympathy. When I first started, I had to fast all night, drink gallons of water, stay upright and not eat for an hour.
As I can no longer tolerate it, I get an annual infusion, which is long overdue, due to lockdown.
I'm so envious of those of you who have access to markets and local farm shops.? We have absolutely nothing like that where I stay. Kalu does the Farmer's market near you still take place?
The longer lockdown has gone on, I have experienced a greater desire to have everything fresh.
Another night of bizarre dreams, but no fortunately no Gransnetters were harmed.
I started off well yesterday, cooking cleaning, looking for a lost Christmas present, then spent the afternoon lying on the sofa, feeling rotten.?
I had already looked in the same spot twice. Own up, who hid it the first few times?
One of my tasks was to dye a pair of trainers. I had bought a pair of , what I thought were pink trainers, from Clarks outlet, reduced from £74 to £19. They were not blush pink, as stated, but a caramel shade. I already have trainers that colour.
Not to be daunted I did a search for shoe dye on the Internet.
I'm pretty chuffed with the results.
The only difficulty was putting the laces back in. They had been laced up in complicated pattern. Could I work out how, well NO! I should have taken a photo. ?
When I was working I remember my rheumatologist advising me to wear trainers or policewoman like shoes. I was horrified, after all I was renowned for my iconic, shoe collection.
Now I hardly ever wear shoes.
I have DGD's birthday presents to wrap for tomorrow, but it will need to be brown paper, tarted up, as I haven't been near the shops for a very long time. My siege mentality brain, is not coping with a diminished parcel wrapping stash.
Virtual hugs for all my friends (unless you don't do hugs), take care and stay safe.
