Personally I would rather UK left EU without a deal than give up our freedom. We can avoid buying French food and wine, on the wholecwe drink new world wines anyway.
British cheeses are just as good.

As for travel, we all managed before freedom of movement and can easily go back.

The thought of caving into europe and their desire to annexe uk fills me with horror

So many do though GG13
My own family rely on life saving medications too, it isn’t the
Remainers own preserve, but there will be measures put in place to make sure necessary drugs get through to those who need it.

Just popped back to say "Cheerio" and leave you this. Seems apt, covers all the bases I think......

When posters announce their 'departure' ? they invariably return. I'm sure we'll recognise you.

Jane10 Fri 11-Dec-20 17:17:26

Can't stand Janey Godly. Sorry Alegrias.

Callistemon Fri 11-Dec-20 17:19:26

Jane10

But we'll manage!

Even if we do feel cheesed off!

(A terrible pun, sorry)

Oh but I do like her doing Nicola Sturgeon!

Callistemon Fri 11-Dec-20 17:38:39

Just you what Lucca?
I've been busy, what did I miss.

Sorry, merlotgran, I ate it, but did notice the very tiny piece of Brie that came in a Christmas pack of cheese is French.

Nezumi65 Fri 11-Dec-20 18:01:52

Lucca

Galaxy Fri 11-Dec-20 18:05:01

Well Parky as you have acknowledged that your Leave vote will hurt us all.

Please remember that only about half of those who voted in the fraudulent referendum of 2016, voted leave, and that was about 17 million out of a population of 67 million, (about a quarter or one in four of the UK population), you should be prepared to bear the cost of your vote, not only to yourself but to the other three UK citizens whose future you have damaged.

Just a bit further west mesdames, try Cornish blue cheese. It's a lot creamier than Stilton and has more of a gorgonzola flavour. Nicer than the very dry Saint Agur but not quite up there with the strong taste of Roquefort or Bleu d'Auvergene.

PS. why do I always enter the discussion when good food and wines are mentioned?

25Avalon Fri 11-Dec-20 18:35:34

Bath cheese company do a lovely soft creamy Brie like cheese.

The use of that language tells us a lot about those who still support brexit.

Ellianne Fri 11-Dec-20 18:51:29

Theres a lot of harsh sounds in those three words I'll admit Lucca.

Sparkling Fri 11-Dec-20 19:00:16

Varia, your posts are hilarious, Fraudulent election ? Where did you dream that up from. News Flash. Brexit has happened, live with it, no going back. I am far from happy the way things are, but this is it, so we have to make a fist if it. To continuously drum on about the past is pointless and unrealistic.

I rather like the look of the renegade monk they do washed in ale.
I wonder what mischief he got up to?
None -nun- of course!

Lucca Fri 11-Dec-20 19:05:11

Sad

Callistemon Fri 11-Dec-20 19:11:38

Yes, out of order, Lucca.

The fraudulent referendum of 2016 was won by lies, cheating and foreign interference.

The fact that brexit has been allowed to happen does not change the truth of how it happened.
