PS Soop first told me the connection was down on 10 December. They've had several "engineers" visit, made several phone calls, had to re-report that there was a fault after ten or more days with no connection, and have now been told they have to wait till 30 December for another "engineer".

Keep rested Galen but some gentle movement of your limbs while you are seated may help to prevent the unsteadiness or stiffness when you first get up from sitting or lying down.

And I rather think I have earned a glass or two of wine . kittylester I did laugh when I read you had done 3 doorstep visits. Birdbrain forgot it was Christmas and I was thinking of Jehovah's witnesses! My apologies. Yes, it is a cold day although the sun has been out all day today we were told it could be -2C during the day.

GrandmaFrench delighted to see you are up and running.

I need a degree in engineering to get a Shark bagless upright vacuum actually working. I cannot read the instructions and the company has gone paperless. It was so easy to put together. Too many bells and whistles.

Can you just imagine for a moment the littlies fizzing with excitement about now? Soon it’ll be .. Carrot for Rudolph .. check. Mince pie and a tot of something for Father Christmas ... check. Can you hear any jingle bells yet?

Ah, the magic of it all eh? Memories so dear to many of us tonight. A time to reflect and appreciate what we have. x

Beautiful photo morethan, good to see you. We’ve had a very cold but worthwhile walk along a much too windy sea front with two of ours. While I’m still so sad we won’t see them tomorrow that didn’t stop me enjoying the hour and a half today, like kitty I haven’t de-frosted yet. How is it they never feel the cold?
