For this who loved Ian Durie and the Blockheads, start here (if you don’t , skip this bit) www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwju9OTm0I7uAhWDxIUKHTV0Co4QwqsBMAB6BAgHEAM&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DCIMNXogXnvE&usg=AOvVaw0PsAx-fdKCOAIPW-ijO0yf
Right - now to my point.....
Isn’t it time we looked for and shared reasons to be cheerful?

This is my contribution for this morning

The Bath Oliver, one of Britain’s favourite biscuits, has been granted a reprieve, as production has restarted following an outcry over its disappearance.
Some eagle-eyed shoppers had spotted the biscuit was absent from supermarket shelves in October, with owner Pladis, formerly known as United Biscuits, saying the pandemic had caused it to cease production of the British stalwart
But fans of the snack, once famed for its qualities as a medical digestive, are in luck as the factory lines are now back up and running

What’s your reason to be cheerful? smile

I'm very cheered by the prospect of a local walk now that the icy pavements are disappearing for a couple of days before the next minus temperature is set to arrive. Joy indeed!

I actually retrieved a pesky tissue before putting it into the washing....

My House sale has finally got to the point of exchanging contracts and a possible moving date (If removers are available) of 1st February - it was sold in early September!
Hubby and I are so exhausted - we have been living, surrounded by packed boxes since October!

It's my 75th birthday and I should be somewhere exotic with golden sand and a cocktail , but instead I've filled the apartment with 75 roses, , the fridge has a bottle of expensive pink champagne cooling , and I bought a birthday cake. I'm playing the Boomtown rats , I don't like Mondays , and dinner is from M&S ready to heat. It's a Lockdown birthday !

Sounds fabulous, better than most non lockdown birthdays in fact.

And what about it’s rarely seen cousin the Chocolate Oliver? My absolute favourites - haven’t seen one for years and years....

The vaccination roll-out is making me cautiously optimistic. If I get as far as having the jab before the lurgy gets me I shall be ecstatic.
