You have just won a competition ( maybe not on GN), for a lifetime’s supply of the last thing you bought. What have you won?

Me: Graded pieces of music for the clarinet and Sauvignon Blanc.

White curtain rings and glue sticks for fabric. Well at least I'll be able to patchwork (EPP) to my hearts content, but I only have one white curtain pole :-(

A cage to protect ground feeding birds when they're eating seed - not sure how many of those I'd need in a lifetime!

I had real flu in 1995 and couldn’t move off the couch during the day so lay watching old Coronation Street episodes on tv. I’d never seen Corrie in my life before. There was a competition costing 10p. I entered and won a corrie t shirt in the post. I felt so unwell that I opened it and then just dropped it and the envelope unimpressed. Thankfully my husband checked the envelope before putting it in the bin... there was a cheque for £1000 inside too!
