We are allowed to mention grans by name. We are not allowed to mention those who have been banned or suspended. That's why the Kitchen posts were deleted.
Neither are we allowed to start threads about missing posters, as its deemed intrusive, according to GNHQ.
However I think there is nothing wrong with general mentions, as on this thread.

Ah but Marydoll what if you don’t know who’s been banned or suspended because GNHQ won’t let anyone say who they are. There was a thread deleted the other day about a poster who was neither banned or suspended but it got deleted because someone asked if anyone had heard from her.
Who knows what these new rules are if we are not allowed to discuss it.

Callistemon, I have a friend who sent me umpteen funny videos on What's App all through lockdown. They drive me to distraction!

The latest one was something I saw years ago, it must still be doing the rounds! I laughed the first time

Some are new and very funny, though, and I do forward them.

I have four ex colleagues in a WhatsApp group and the videos can go on until late at night. I have to put my phone on silent.

Callistemon Marydoll I have a friend does the same, I always feel obliged to acknowledge them even though some aren’t that funny (to me).

I’m sure I’m not the only one on here that’s enjoying the way in these unprecedented times that this GM thread has meandered over into the afternoon and evening! Sometimes it’s nice just to extend our chats.
