Definitely & well said NellG I’d forgotten that aspect. I remember being somewhat stunned when a poster said a couple of years back ‘I very rarely post, I tend to just read but I do report as often as I see fit’.

I must admit to feeling a little uncomfortable with the thought of lurkers reading and reporting without joining in a discussion. Rather creepy to think that someone is judging without having the courtesy to let those involved know.

Also like others I want to support Maw as she's had a very hard time over the last few years and perhaps this forum has been a lifeline for her.

No, Frank wasn't a myth, he posted for quite a while. Now I look back, his personality and writing style did appear rather like FH's, so the initials may possibly be relevant. However, I wouldn't risk putting any money on a bet.

That was my response too. Doesn't want to participate and be part of the community, just wants an anonymous policing role........creepy and somewhat horrible.

Yes I'm with you there GillT57, it is really rather creepy isn't it? What kind of person would get pleasure from anonymously reporting people for perceived transgressions on a forum to which they never contribute? Bizarre, nasty in the extreme
