RIP Sir Tom, I hope his family are left to grieve in peace.

So very sorry to see this, a lovely man.

His daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore said he had been treated for pneumonia over the past few weeks and last week tested positive for Covid-19."

How sad. What a hero ??

Just had a conversation on the phone with my daughter and heard Sir Tom has passed away so sad.

So sad to hear this. A true gentleman who will never be forgotten

I feel so sad that he was not well enough for the vaccine and died with Covid. I hope his family take comfort from knowing how many hearts he touched.

For those of us Gransnetters in our sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties, wondering whether we can still do anything to change the world for the better, Sir Tom has shown us that we can. What an inspirational man!
