Good Morning everyone from a wonderfully sunny South of France and from where I shall attempt to spend a small amount of time in my garden today. The birdies are singing from dawn to dusk now and there are now so many around the bird table that I feel I should slow down with the seed supply, to avoid future abortive take-offs or heavy landings!
You’re a very brave girl, Iris. Doubtless your lovely (anxious) Gran will be planning some more hand-made creations to cheer you as you recover. Love and luck coming your way to help you through today.
Annapops, isn’t it good when you can remember scenes from your past with such clarity and happiness. For you to feel enjoyment from something which gave your Mum so much pleasure, and which sets off happy memories, is lovely. Links in the chain of family life and good memories. We certainly need those now!
Don’t worry too much about booties, sheep. Get the beds made and the pillows plumped. Sort out the lighting and some relaxing music. Mums Matter Most, remember. Fingers crossed that all goes well. Can’t think of anything more wonderful than a barn full of lambsies.....except of course a green meadow of frolicking youngsters, jumping over their Mums’ backs and gambolling around in little gangs in the Spring sunshine. Hope you won’t be exhausted and that the biscuit cupboard is a comfort!
I love to hear the funny little comments that creep into morning posts and it’s so nice to hear that in the middle of all that we’ve endured for soooooooo long, hamsters still get custom made assault courses, naughty little German dogs go on strike regarding snowy walks, and some of us (and me) have to pretend that friends are visiting before we’re able to tidy the house. It feels reassuring to know that underneath the awfulness that this pandemic has created in each of our lives, we’re still the same people - all hanging in there and staying sane!
If you’re sad today, feeling low in spirits, worried or just fed up, I hope it’ll pass soon. If you’re unwell, may you feel better and stronger as the hours pass. If you’re having to face the unthinkable, please never feel you’re alone : your virtual, caring, worried chums are here day and night for posts and PM’s. That’s what we do - we genuinely care, and we’re wishing so hard for you. ?.
Make it a good day, everyone, we’re here for each other and you’re not alone. Hugs from me to you. x ?♀️
Desperately sad story of the assisted suicide of a grieving mother
