Good Morning all from wet, miserable Harrogate. At the moment I await my Morrisons delivery - it's just arrived!! I'm seriously thinking of going back to Asda for my deliveries - I liked their recurring slots.
Well, Morrisons have some quaint ways! I wanted some pineapple to nibble (keep me away from chocolate) I've got 4 packs and paid for two!! with a sell by date of 20th Feb. Two packets of dried apricots instead of one, I have paid for one!!

grandMattie sorry you are feeling down, probably pent up anxiety about Iris, she proved herself to be a trouper last time and she will again!
Yesterday DD1 came with GD to have a walk with DH, after DD and GD went to the park so I went to the park to meet them and met two friends!! I felt quite elated when I got back home!!

There are so many of you missing - hope to see your cheery news soon. Chins up! Tomorrow will be better

Good morning all from a mild sunny Lancashire. It was raining earlier and more showers are forecast, but there’s no wind and it’s feeling much warmer. Not much planned for today, other than a walk after lunch.

Have a peaceful day all.

Good Morning to you all from a mild, but very wet Cambs.,

Sorry that many have extra problems & pain, several of us are feeling rather low just now.
I send you all warm wishes. flowers.

Lots of you post such lovely words, I often think "oh yes that's how I feel too".
I wish there was a "like" button, as I agree with so many of you. smile.

Take Care, Good Folk.

grandMattie, I've tried to send you a pm, but don't think it's gone (or else it has, threefold! ?), but the gist of it was just as Ashcombe posted upthread.
Take care ??

Good morning fromS Lanarkshire, just taking my coffee and crumpet break, (I did consider giving up crumpets for Lent but decided I would just walk on hot coals instead) and I’ll read all the posts later but I want to send?to grandMattie, it’s horrible when you feel as you are doing today, I really think we all do sometimes as we get older, especially just now when we feel we can’t make any real difference in anyone’s lives. You do however, you must know what a strong presence you are on this thread and how much you contribute to the generous and positive atmosphere that we all benefit from. Tomorrow will be better!
Good wishes to everyone

Late good morning from me. Up early for a more than early hospital appointment some distance away. Reassuring visit. Spinal issues to be monitored by the very pleasant person I saw today. For now it’s carry on regardless. I’m to phone him immediately if anything changes. The NHS at its best.

Good to hear Iris is well after her surgery grandMattie. We all get bleak periods. It’s been a heck of a few months for sure and bound to have an impact. Mojos seem to be in hiding for many of us.

flowers for us all today with extra flowers for those finding life extra hard going just now. Look after yourselves everyone.

Grandmafrench, I think we may have had the same thoughts about the PM situation?

Urmstongran hope the side effects wear off soon?

Curlywhirly Thu 18-Feb-21 12:23:47

Urmstongran I too had my Covid Vaccination yesterday lunchtime. Felt fine until bedtime, then had a really restless night and woke up with my arm aching and aches and pains in my back and hips. Not really got a headache (yet!) just feeling a bit under the weather. Hoping this is as bad as it gets ?
