As you were, please feel free to continue

Thank you ?

You're welcome

Well after Harry admitting that one of the Royals, could be his father or brother, said what about your future children's skin colour And he admitted his father not taking calls so not getting along, big bust up.

Grany Tue 16-Mar-21 15:06:43

Not that I give two hoots really

Blossoming Tue 16-Mar-21 15:20:00

Yes, I’ve changed my opinion about the levels of racism and misogyny in the UK. They’re far higher than I realised.

LauraNorder Tue 16-Mar-21 15:24:32

Anniebach was correct at the end of the previous thread.
The BBC reported that Gayle King of CBS has stated that she spoke to her friends Meghan and Harry at the weekend and was told that there had been a conversation between Harry and William and another between Harry and Charles. She told the BBC that neither conversation had been productive but that the Sussexes were pleased that a conversation had begun.
What they meant by ‘not productive’ is anyone’s guess.
All very sad and inappropriate airing of dirty linen when the world is in crisis, in my opinion.

NellG Tue 16-Mar-21 15:26:13

Yes, current events would certainly reflect that Blossoming not sure how much of it has to do with H&M though other than some unproven claims made in an interview. Unless you're referring to the people here who post on the topic? Although I'm not sure GN is very representative.

This is so true Laura and I can’t reconcile what’s happening now to the claim of much wanted privacy when Meghan and Harry initially left royal life.

Anniebach Tue 16-Mar-21 15:35:37

Grany perhaps you should have started a thread -

Who Is It Megs Won’t Name

You have named Charles and William , what of - Anne, her husband, two children. Fergie, Andrew, their two children
Edward, Sophie, Camilla, Kate .

Your turn

When seeking rapprochement, it does seem an odd strategy to divulge (what must surely be) a very personal conversation to a friend who then (presumably with permission) relays it to the world via US television. Ms King is said to be a close friend of Meghan. As relations between the brothers and between Harry and his father are to say the least fragile, I can’t for the life of me see why this action is going to help, though it may be a “we mean business” warning.

Anniebach Tue 16-Mar-21 15:40:31

The friend was at the baby shower and is a close friend of Megs and Oprah , there was no conversation with Megs !

maddyone Tue 16-Mar-21 15:42:13

Who didn’t have a conversation with Meghan Annie? I’m confused.

Anniebach Tue 16-Mar-21 15:45:15

Sorry maddyone Charles and William didn’t have a conversation with her

maddyone Tue 16-Mar-21 15:46:55

Thanks Annie. It wouldn’t surprise me.

maddyone Tue 16-Mar-21 15:51:57

To be honest, if I was either Charles or William, I wouldn’t want a conversation with Harry/Meghan for a good while. The dust needs to settle and see how they feel then. William must be furious at them for dragging Catherine into it. Nor would I be giving Harry any more money after his petulant attacks, if I was Charles.

Haz and Meg have to make everything public don’t they , waiting to hear if one or both are constipated

Ellianne Tue 16-Mar-21 15:57:25

Did William not say last Thursdsy at that East London school, something like "I haven't spoken to him yet, but I will be!" Said between gritted teeth, and not calling him my brother or Harry like he usually would.

Anniebach Tue 16-Mar-21 16:00:30

Well it was nonproductive

EllanVannin Tue 16-Mar-21 16:02:12

The use of mud-slinging to justify your reasons for leaving is a pretty poor show and very cowardly to my mind.
What a sad pair that they won't let this go. Have they nothing else better to do ?

Mollygo Tue 16-Mar-21 16:03:15

Anniebach

Haz and Meg have to make everything public don’t they , waiting to hear if one or both are constipated

That would surely be OTT Anniebach! But there again, maybe not.
Tickingbird it amuses me to count, when it gets near to 1000 posts. I’m not obsessed with saying the same thing over and over again, but . . .

Ellianne Tue 16-Mar-21 16:11:26

There is a way of linking the new thread to the previous 1000 posts thread. If anyone can be bothered!

Lexisgranny Tue 16-Mar-21 16:14:12

EllanVannin I do wonder whether all this fuss is because they are trying to ensure that they do have something to do, things here had gone rather quiet, except the unusual re-hashes of previous stories. In this way, they are back on the front pages again, particularly in America. They have got to make themselves relevant enough to earn money. I think the whole business is getting tedious. I’m only thinking about it/posting because I have been trying to avoid a pile of ironing,

Daisend1 Tue 16-Mar-21 16:17:20

Clearly the Sussex's have nothing better to do. Is there any one other than myself now finding 'they said this /they said that' becoming, putting it mildly, a ' pain in the 'rear'?

AGAA4 Tue 16-Mar-21 16:22:35

I just hope Meghan and Harry will keep quiet now they have aired their grievances to millions of people.
