Throughout the election campaign he has engaged in numerous malapropisms, slurred words, mispronouncing words and misidentifying people, such as calling his wife Jill his sister.
I’ve noticed he seems to make a point of jogging on stage up to the microphone to address an audience.
I’m concerned this 78 year old really isn’t as well as is hoped.
What an age for a man to be POTUS. When you think that out of all the people in America you’d think someone fitter could represent them. Kamala is waiting in the wings I suppose.
The press conference is now over. I did not watch, But some here said they would make their opinions after the fact. So I’m wondering, did people watch it, and if you were basing opinions on it, did you watch the whole thing or just read the headlines?

Defunding the Police in the USA is about using some of the funding the police currently spend on military grade weaponry to fund drug treatment, children’s services etc. You know, all the stuff that has to be paid for by charitable fund raising in the US.
It seems to me to be entirely sensible
Marijuana is legal in a lot of states anyway isn’t it? A few more won’t make much difference...as for the other policies she sounds like the complete antithesis of Trump which can only be a good thing. imo

Watched a documentary about Churchill last night. He was just shy of 77 when he became PM for second time, but had suffered a series of mini strokes and was in failing health.
He stuck it out from 1951 to 1955, but should have resigned sooner.
Alcohol was an issue as well.

I don’t think it’s a case of over-estimating Trump’s support. Didn’t Kamala only get 2% of the Democrat nomination vote or something? It was very low. I remember reading about it last year. I must look it up. She wasn’t particularly popular until Biden chose her as a running mate.

Remember. Hilary Clinton got more votes than Trump. It was the way the US Electoral College system works that put Trump in the White House, she did that despite all the Russian support for Trump and trolling of her and the fact that her background was nearly as dodgy as Trump's.
Do not over-exaggerate how much following Trump really has.
Trump policies (natch). Just read he probably won’t be standing for re-election. Republicans will get behind whoever he endorses. I expect by then the USA will have given Biden (and quite possibly Kamala Harris) enough rope.

It did occur to me that in a country the size of the USA therer were only 2 OAPs standing for presidency. While the worst one lost, I'm not sure if the best man won! By all accounts Kamala Harris is very capable of taking over!!

He once dumped his umbrella outside the cabin door to Airforce One because he couldn't close it – the umbrella, not the door. I don't recall Joe Biden talking about the army taking the airports during the Revolutionary War, how the sound of wind turbines causes cancer, how introducing disinfectant and strong light into the body might cure Covid 19 and how he wanted to know the oranges of the Russia investigation. Donald Trump referred to his current wife as Melanie and designated the CEOs attending a meeting with their companies' names instead of their own surnames. He invented a country called Nambia and harangued the leaders of the Baltic States about their break-up of Yugoslavia and the establishment of the Balkan States.
He also repeatedly mentions the 1917 'flu pandemic which he claims brought an end to World War II; the pandemic started in 1918 and World War II took place from 1939 to 1945. He also thinks that the new stealth bomber is literally invisible, saying that "you literally can't see it". That must make it difficult for pilots to locate the cockpits.
I know who I think is mentally impaired, possibly as a result of mini strokes.

I broke the navicular bone years ago (it was never set) and the talus bone years later, everything is misaligned so that may be why my balance is poor.
