Liam Halligan former Channel 4 news economist has been signed up.

And Michelle Dewberry has been confirmed to be in the line up. With her roots in Hull, she will anchor a weekday evening primetime show giving a voice to “working class communities.”

Perhaps Piers Morgan ??

Dan Wooten, the NZ journalist is definitely signed up.

Simon McCoy is a very good presenter, I’m not sure about Michelle Dewberry though. It was rumoured that Piers Morgan had also been offered a job on this new channel. Let’s hope it doesn't turn out to be the equivalent of USA’s Fox News.

I love watching Andrew Neil press his guests for answers. He doesn’t let anyone off lightly!

I look forward to this very much. I think Andrew Neil is terrific at interviewing and his political detailed knowledge is gobsmacking.

I shall miss Simon on the occasions I catch the BBC 1 o’ clock news.

I shall miss his ‘Good arf-noon’ welcome to the programme.

I find Andrew Neil's ultra right-wing bias rather annoying and predictable, sadly - but accept he's bright and sharp.

It won’t be unbiased, but if AN floats your boat, enjoy.
