Did you watch it?
It was painfully obvious President Biden is too old for the job.
Even he stated that he came to the senate 120 years ago.

Kampala Harris would be sworn in. This was a way of getting a woman in office at the election. Don't know anything much about Biden except he cares very much about America, but I do not think anyone over 70 should be in office. I am fit and my brain is as quick I think, but physically I haven't the stamina and staying power I had when younger. It's very hard accepting that when your mind is active and you have wisdom of life on your side. Let's hope he proves to be a good President.

I did. Surprisingly pleased to hear no major gaffes. Himself watched it too and said ‘he’s 10 years older than me but looks 10 years younger with his subtle plastic surgery’. I couldn’t take my eyes away from his ultra white teef!

But his delivery was measured and I was relieved not to witness anything untoward during this live interview. He’s already handing Kamala a ‘big ask’ dealing with the border issues down south. I bet she thought ‘cheers for that Joe’.

I thought him coming to the senate 120 years ago was a major gaffe.

You don't think, you don't suppose, do you, that he was making fun of all those people on the internet who keep saying he's too old for the job...? No, surely not. hmm

I thought the British understood irony!

Clearly not judging by GN.

Another bit of merriment?????

I thought you were of the view that he has Alzheimer’s ?

Urmstongran Fri 26-Mar-21 07:55:26

I did Lucca (and maybe to some extent, still do) think Biden had Alzheimer’s mainly from recent gaffes and the triple mis-steps going up into Airforce One. I have read that Alzheimer’s progress doesn’t follow a linear trajectory so either Biden is okay after all - or did he just have a good day? Only time will tell I suppose. But in the meantime, yesterday’s performance reassured me and, I dare say, many Americans.

I didn’t feel reassured. He relied on notes, the reporters were specially selected, there seemed to be pre knowledge of the questions and he rambled on not making much sense at times.
His team is doing their job running the country but how long will Biden be able to keep it together?

Completely agree. He looked blank and confused at times. Nice man but too old for the job.

My sentiments exactly Vicky.
