Large moon due this SUNDAY

Is this what is named as the Worm moon ? Why worm I don't know, unless it has powers to draw worms out of the earth ----at night making them think it's daytime.

Yes it's the Worm Moon - named apparently because it's the time of year when worms start to come to the surface. The start of Spring I guess when the ground is waking up a bit. Also the first full moon of the Spring.

There seems to be a lot of supermoons lately - or have they always been about but we didn't really take much notice? Took this in my phone last year.

So long as nobody's going around with hairy hands and face I don't mind.
