One of our Tea room ladies wants to know if she can bring her WI members here for tea next week. They want salmon sandwiches and a selection of pastries plus..........that delightful chap the Admiral to give them a talk on his seafaring days .
It would bring in the money but do we dare turn him lose on the WI ?
(Do we know anyone with a fishing rod who could catch some fish in the canal by the sewage works. We could pass it off as salmon)

There is some salmon in the freezer that will do. 10 years out of date is fine. Isn't it? grandmajet is good at adding disguising flavours to the usual ancient food we serve.

We could factor in AGA's suggestion of escorted llama walks. Old dears like that sort of gentle activity. Can you train them up in time to be, er, reliable?

These are all fabulous ideas, but I think we:d have to have separate dedicated days. Can't have WAGs socialising (if you could call it that☹️) with WI Old Dears. Nor could we risk either meeting with Life Classes, which again MUST be same sex model/students.
