Snow Watch! ❄️

In South Yorkshire near the Peak District. Lots overnight and today but it’s gone now. Was gorgeous on Easter Sunday. Spent the day in the garden with family. Can’t believe the difference.

Hail after a 30 minute flurry of snow at 5.30. The ground is merely wet. “Feels like” - 1C but the temperature is noted as 3C here on the Sefton coast (t’other side of EV’s Costa Mersey), Fanny.

Just starting again and judging by the sky, we're in for rather a lot this time around.

Heavy flurries this afternoon and early evening in South Yorkshire but nothing settled and all is now calm and the sky is clear and tinged with the pink of the setting sun.

Flurries throughout the day here on the Herts/Bucks border. Now have 'white' lawns, plants and garden furniture. Bitterly cold

Sky's a bit threatening here after a short burst of snow. That wind is cutting with 2 degrees on the Costa Mersey. No buckets and spades today. Heating's on but the knee-caps are like ice

G/Net has been intermittent with a 502/ 522 Error this afternoon.

In North Cheshire we have had blizzards on and off this afternoon but the snow melts away almost as soon as it falls. It's still bitterly cold; my outdoor thermometer said 1 degree a few minutes ago.

Here in Berkshire we have had brief snow showers this afternoon and have just had some flurries around half an hour ago.

Bright spring sunshine here in Pembrokeshire, with a few wispy white clouds. 6 Deg C but feels colder as chilly wind. No snow. Kids here grow up hardly seeing snow

I'm in Oxfordshire and on Easter Sunday whilst out walking in Oxford there was a prolonged period of snow. We sang Jingle Bells as it felt more like Christmas than Easter. Today we have had a couple of flurries but not enough to bring on Jingle Bells

We nearly got to 4 degrees in the north of Norfolk SueDonim!

Apparently that lumpy snow we had in Norfolk today is called graupel. I never knew!

My daughter WhatsApp me from Lancashire it’s was snowing there. Just-an hour later it was snowing and hale stones here Liverpool.

Uh-oh, Met Office snow warning for us here in N of Scotland has just been issued. Batten down the hatches!

We've had flurries on and off all day in Northumberland but it's melted, lovely sunshine now and blue skies. Do be very careful near the sea, my dog and I got soaked with a huge and unexpected wave, I thought I was going to lose him.

I spoke to my daughter in Belfast this morning, she said it was heavy there.

We woke up to about two inches of snow yesterday. It thawed as the sun came up but it’s snowed on and off ever since and hasn’t been above about 3deg.
