Comfort top socks

My DH has the same problem and has a drawer full of socks we thought would be OK. Eventually I googled soft topped socks and suppliers came up - we ordered some and they are from Sockshop - his have a plaid design and came three in a pack. Lovely and soft and wash well - no complaints since. We bought more as a back up. They were no more expensive than run of the mill socks.

My husband doesn't have fat legs either but has found the Farrah "soft top" sort lovely.

Cosyfeet do what they call diabetic socks with extra stretchy tops

Diabetic socks (at least the ones I have seen) allow for extra width over the foot itself. I have bought them for my mother in law who has puffy feet most days now - but don't think the OP is looking for that?

I got ones called Gentle Grip on Amazon - they are lovely, very comfy indeed.

Yes. I have checked and Socksnob was where the Farah "comfort cuff" came from. Sockshop sell them too.

There is also a Farah sock called "gentle grip" - don't know the difference though I'm afraid.

The Gentle Grip women’s socks have horrible toe seams. They rubbed my toes raw and I had to get rid of the socks.

Were they Farah, SueDonim - or a different brand?

Calzedonia are really comfortable. My daughter lives in Milan and introduced us to these. Reasonably priced too

I prefer soft top socks and found them on Amazon, sold as diabetic socks they have them for both men and women. I have lots of them in different colours designs - spots and stripes!

Another vote here for Sockshop. Good choice of soft top or comfort cuffs. Their bamboo socks are especially good and not too expensive. Lovely and comfortable to wear.
