Aka 'Guilty Pleasures'

Hello Everyone! ?

Inspired by someone (who will remain nameless) who includes Pretty Woman in her list of all-time favourite films hmm

It can be anything: food; TV; books...

I'll get the crappy ball rolling with Super Noodles (chicken flavour); Celebrity Big Brother (RIP); and the Agatha Raisin books (complete and utter badly written drivel)
Oh, and I can't miss out The Daily Mail (subscription holder blush)

Come on, what are yours?

Thank you! smilethanks

Virtually anything from the cozy mystery series, I’ve got a kindle unlimited subscription and most of them are on that. I’ve read hundreds of them this year, my husband says I would be incredibly well read if only I read something decent. I don’t care, I read for pure escapism and particularly love the detective series set in the 1920s, beautiful fashions and not too much gore.

I like garden gnomes blush

I also love cruises, not sure if they count as rubbish but I would happily spend most of the year on one if I had the money and didn’t have pesky work to get in the way.

I used to compulsively watch Robot Wars. This was when Craig Charles and Philippa Forester presented it.

The utter carnage of it all was rivitting!!

Crisp and Marmite sandwiches .

BBbevan Sat 22-May-21 16:01:35

Pork pie and Mars bars.

Urmstongran Sat 22-May-21 16:07:49

I’ve rediscovered chicken Supa Noodles to my shame! And bags of salt & vinegar hula hoops. Total rubbish nutrition wise... I’m getting nowhere on my pretend diet.

Tacky Christmas decorations especially those which make noise and move!

“ Inspired by someone (who will remain nameless) who includes Pretty Woman in her list of all-time favourite films hmm”

Guilty as charged. I just love all the gorgeous outfits.

Actually it’s not so much a favourite , I just find myself watching it every time it’s on tv.

Don’t Tell the Bride. The tackier the wedding, the more I love it.

Crisps. I LOVE them. Haven't indulged for weeks now and has made zero difference to my waist line.

Doctors daytime TV. NO idea why I love it. It's TV pap. But... Haven't been able to watch for a year now (working overseas) but will binge watch when I get home.

I used to love A Place in the Sun, until I had one. The novelty wore off FAST after that.

Mumsnet & Gransnet and other internet surfing. Waste of time but I spend hours doing it.

NotAGran55 Sat 22-May-21 17:33:25

Dairylea cheese spread ( with marmite)
Coronation Street

sodapop Sat 22-May-21 19:21:04

Me too with Doctors Gagajo really enjoy it especially Valerie.

Also watch The Sound of Music when it's on TV.

I love a toasted sandwich with extra crispy bacon. Very unhealthy but good.

Know someone who took part in the one home and away ie home and abroad. It was fixed. They had no intention of buying either and went for the free hols. On the programme, they did say they were buying the abroad. They didn’t, of course!
