Aka 'Guilty Pleasures'

Hello Everyone! ?

Inspired by someone (who will remain nameless) who includes Pretty Woman in her list of all-time favourite films hmm

It can be anything: food; TV; books...

I'll get the crappy ball rolling with Super Noodles (chicken flavour); Celebrity Big Brother (RIP); and the Agatha Raisin books (complete and utter badly written drivel)
Oh, and I can't miss out The Daily Mail (subscription holder blush)

Come on, what are yours?

Thank you! smilethanks

How do you make condensed milk sandwiches then? Doesn’t it ooze out ? Curious. I like Bargain Hint, watch it every weeknight after Who wants to be a millionaire? Both rubbish, especially the fake auctions full of people shipped in from the local old folks home but I still watch.

Got carried away with " Married at First Sight--Australia " grin
earlier in the year and have followed the couple who were successful, Jules and Cameron and now their baby son.

I've run out of episodes of Four in a Bed.
I've seen all of them at least twice.
I wish that they would show the first series of Come Dine With Me. It was very different to how it is now.
It had lots of elderly eccentrics on (proper eccentrics - not 'I'm mad me' types).

How I'd have loved those types of magazines at the hairdressers!

I am usually given Country Life, Vogue and Tatler.

I had no idea that coleslaw was so controversial! shock

That one has amazed me as well

I do love coleslaw. Homemade. Not by me. By someone who knows their way around a cabbage.

FannyCornforth Sat 22-May-21 12:47:27

Love to The Manor Born - there's nothing rubbish about that!

TerriBull Sat 22-May-21 12:47:04

I'll start with my first and worst:

Kentucky Fried Chicken, can't remember the last time I ate any though, maybe the occasional Nandos has filled that void.

The Seven Sister books by Lucinda Riley, such a preposterous premise, but mainly enjoyable, can't wait for the final one, any day soon I believe.

Sea salt, I try to be sparing, just love it all over fries.

Four in A Bed, it's my late afternoon bit of light entertainment, usually first tv of the day for me.

Before lockdown, magazines at the hairdressers such as Heat and OK blush drivel but compulsive!

A new life in the sun

Say yes to get the dress

A place in the sun. Sometimes think some people have no intention of buying anything

Marrying millions

Namsnanny Sat 22-May-21 12:46:51

Buying something! I can always find an excuse if I want it.

If you ever get the chance to see Plan 9 from outer space don’t miss it. It’s considered the Citizen Cane of bad films.
To give you an idea: the spaceship was furnished with wicker chairs and velvet curtains ?

GrannyGravy13 Sat 22-May-21 12:19:04

I must admit that as soon as November arrives I am a sucker for all the cheesy Hallmark Christmas films. (Yes I know they are awful)

I will also admit to reading all three Shades of Grey books ?(I was interested to see what all the fuss was about, when we were away every other person round the pool/on the beach appeared to have a copy. I downloaded onto my kindle so that no one could see what I was reading)

Chestnut Sat 22-May-21 12:11:45

Crossroads (RIP) was so delightfully rubbish but I loved it.

FannyCornforth Sat 22-May-21 11:57:58

Oh yes Eldorado!
Marcoos and Pillar!
Lord knows where I dredged that up from...
Marcus had a very, erm, distinctive nose

Alima

Well you have just taken a perfectly tongue in cheek remark and turned it into something mean. I give up.

Sorry, I didn't pick up upon the finer nuances of your comment.
Please don't give up! smile
