Kipling bags !

I love Kipling but know they are like Marmite. I like them as they are lightweight, a lot are crossbody styles and I can manage them using my wheely. My niece has a Mulberry Bayswater that would break your arm when she’s got her stuff in it! I find QVC dear and the cheaper ones have funny colours, John Lewis has very little choice, and I have never found any on the charity shops I visit. This shows that we Kipling fans are anal retentive when it comes to our bags ! I can’t get to an outlet store but found online a shop called The Necessity that have a good range.
My favourite is the small Gabbie and I’m buying a Citypack small to give it a trial. Anyone out there got an Amiel as I’m thinking of buying it ? What are your favourite colours and styles ? My niece says I have hideous taste and like weird patterns ! She is such a kind young woman. ?

Oh seacliff - see you had a very early start to the day ? try to get some rest this afternoon.

Infinity, yes I had little sleep last night, new bed on order, can't wait. Sadly, no much needed siesta today as I'm working from home. Sods law we're going out tonight too. Think I'll have a strong black coffee.

Clarer - suspect you are right ! My niece buys her iPhones and iPads when she goes over to the USA because she says they are a LOT cheaper over there.
P.s I don’t mean she flys over especially to buy them, it’s when she’s over there on business.

Try tkmaxx in store or online. Also eBay charity shops have some Kipling bags at bargain prices.
I got a Kipling suitcase and a couple of bags when I went to a Kipling outlet store in America. The prices there were so cheap it made a mockery of what we pay here! I resent paying full price for their bags now after seeing how little they sell for in the US.

I took two bags to the charity shop last week, but still have rather a lot. Anyone brave enough to own up how many bags they have (not just Kipling) ?

Do they come with cakes? I was thinking bags full -Yum.
I use a very old canvas back pack. It's on its last legs!

There are a couple of good Facebook groups for selling and buying. Kipling Sales Page, Kipling Monkey Madness sales and swops UK. I know I need to have a bag clear out.

When my niece next visits I’ll have to ask her about that Facebook site. I don’t know how to do Facebook but the lure of cheaper Kiplings has got my attention !

I have dozens of Kipling bags of every colour and size imaginable. Some I bought new, several I’ve found in charity shops or off Marketplace. Some advertise them at £40/50 and then some are only £10/12 each. I’m reluctant to let mine go so cheap so I might look at that Facebook group seacliff mentioned, thank you very much. I might be able to sell some as I really need to sort my collection out and reduce it a lot!

I did have one, but in a mad moment gave it to the charity shop, it was useful whilst travelling, I didn’t keep the monkey on, I think that got thrown early on. I’m a nightmare with bags, everywhere I used to go on holiday I came back with one.

I’ve got an advert for Volvo ?
Considering I’ve never driven and the only wheels I’ve got are on my snazzy purple rollator (with a seat on it ) I think the algorithm has gone haywire !!

I have just logged onto gransnet and low and behold I was greeted by a large advertisement at the top of the screen for....... Kipling bags hmm considering this is the first time (I think) they have been mentioned on here shows how we are being watched.

Never heard of them before, and like 'steeking' I have learned something new!
I endorse healthy back bags!

I am also a fan of Kipling bags and have several, I don’t know what they are called though but my current favourite is a little purse size cross body which just holds my phone and a few bits with a zip front flap for money.

My best buys were fake ones from a Shanghai market. I know it was bad but at £5 a bag I could not resist a couple! To be honest they have lasted very well and I cannot see why they are fake! But I also paid the full price for my other bags.

An addict sadly. Leather bags are too heavy for me now so Kipling it is. The Kipling site, QVC, TKMaxx are all good hunting grounds. Unfortunately a local independent department store also sells them grin. The luggage and larger bags are useful, one of their baby bags is ideal for toiletries when we go away. The ability to wash them has been a real bonus in covid times. I have bags of all shapes and sizes in every colour you can think of.

My favourite bags, I have several in different colours and styles. Always looking for a bargain.

seacliff Fri 09-Jul-21 20:15:41

I have several Kipling bags too, I first got them when I broke my wrist and was on crutches. I know they are not the most beautiful of bags, but they are so light and strong and last forever. I also have a great weekend bag and a big cosmetic bag for travel.

There is a facebook group called Love Kipling? Buy, Sell or Swap!. They are genuine people who sometimes want to sell, you can get some good buys.
