That reminded me of my late mum, she used to say 'tomorrow never comes'

My darling Dad quoted this often, lived by it, and it is important to me to remember.

Don't take life too seriously.... Nobody gets out alive anyway!

Don't worry over something you can't change. Don't sweat the small stuff.

You can sit down and cry about it or get up and get on with it.

My favourite for good advice is the Greek ‘ know thyself’.
My favourite to make me laugh is ‘when the going gets tough the tough go shopping’.
I try to practice both depending on the circumstances!

I found that, in a few variations, on the internet a while ago. I actually printed it out and stuck it on the bedroom wall. It reminds me that just existing in this incredible universe is an amazing thing and we are all awesome. We should try to be fearless.

I would like to think it is "Be kind" and I truly try to do that. However if someone does something unkind to me theoretically 'I let it go'. I am not bitter, but a tiny part of my mind never quite trusts that person again. I can continue to be pleasant to them and I don't brood but the first time is a red flag and we build up pictures of characters by being aware of red flags.

Treat others as you yourself would expect to be treated.
