Good Morning Everyone,
Its looking like the start of a hot warm summers day here in Brackley this morning.
Today , will see the usual bus trip to Bicester for my coffee stop ,and a small shop , before returning home to watch the final stage in the Pyrenees on the Tour De France .
Although its a cycle race the organisers, try to cover the regions they visit from helicopter shots of local places of interest , so to promote the country tourism wise , plus race has seen an increase of art created by farmers and locals also visible from the air, unsure whether there is a competition for those displays , they do similar in UK with tours of Britain, and Yorkshire .
Take Care,
Mick

Good Morning everyone from a bright Severnside. Possibly a hot one today so although I’m having a late start I’d like to get most things done this morning.

I’ve a lot of washing to do so will get some walking done up and down to the line. Some dusting and lawn mowing need attending.

You’ve a lot of anniversaries to catch up and celebrate Ash when you and dudders get together.

Take care all and enjoy the day ?

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 14°, sunny with brilliant blue skies and forecast to reach the mid twenties. There's little breeze either.
I had a message from Marydoll. She's not been feeling too well but hopes to post in a few days.
Ashcombe enjoy your break.
Yesterday I donned my hard hat to visit mum as she can be very difficult but it wasn't required as she was ok. She complained about aches and pains but nothing sinister. Then I went to see my friend for coffee. We put the world to rights (again). The afternoon was too hot to do much buy I hoovered and washed the floors.
Today I'll nip to the pharmacy to get my prescription and do washings and hang them out. Have a good day all.

Good morning Mick, morning all from sunny South Lanarkshire.

Today will be filled with domestic tasks. We’re going away for a few days on Saturday so beds, laundry and ironing need to be done first. I’ll also bake up a storm as DD and family will be in a holiday house and we’ll be in the nearby hotel.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day and I hope all the missing Grammingoers are ok.

Good morning everyone from a sunny Isle of Bute. Another lovely day forecast and the DGC are going to see some Alpacas this morning and then we’re off to the beach again this afternoon
Yesterday DH and I had a lovely time at Mount Stuart which was really interesting and the gardens were beautiful
Missing Marydoll hoping all is ok
Take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good morning from an overcast NE.
Weather was the same yesterday but the sun did get out during the morning.
DH's dental appointment was successful and he has to return in a few weeks when his front teeth will be ready for fitting.
Sainsbury's delivery this afternoon with just the basics for the next week.
Family sent more photos of their holiday outings, lovely to see the GDs out in the fresh air.
Thinking of you Marydoll.

A bright sunny Good Morning to you all.
It is my bits today and we have a table booked for lunch at a rather nice restaurant.
Will be visiting Portleavem and some other coves on the Lizard.
Wishing you all a smile today.

Nannagarra, I hope my Mexican Grass doesn't grow that big! Ha ha.

Grandmajean Thu 15-Jul-21 07:45:43

Morning all.
Here in Cheshire it is very overcast but heat is promised.
Was Chester still buzzing Nannagarra?
Will pop back later to read more posts.

Lins1066 Thu 15-Jul-21 07:45:03

Good morning from a sunny and very warm S Welsh coast.
Some ironing to do and a medical appointment later, the excitement is unbounded.
Take care everyone and enjoy the sunshine.

Good morning from Morecambe Bay where we have a bright blue sky. We have not confined ourselves to the house but we are keeping ourselves to ourselves. Yesterday we took the campa and had a cup of tea on Silverdale beach overlooking Grange over Sands. Today we will do something similar and take a salad lunch. We continue to test negative but will have to keep checking for a few more days. Hopefully our trip to Shetland can go ahead next week. Our next door neighbour is also in isolation. We had a conversation yesterday shouting across our gardens. I think the whole estate heard. He has a pub in Morecambe and has had to close because 5 staff are positive. There certainly seems to be a lot of cases at the moment.
Thinking of our missing posters. Nice to hear from MoBB this morning.
Enjoy your break Ashcombe
Take care and stay safe everyone ?

kittylester Thu 15-Jul-21 07:25:18

Morning, we've got the sun dragonfly - I'll send it along later.

Taking my sil out for lunch later - it is almost 5 weeks since my brother went into hospital and she needs a but of cheering up.

I also need to do my Sainsbury's shop.

Nannagarra Thu 15-Jul-21 07:19:47

Good morning from cloudy Sefton.
Yesterday we arrived in Chester at 9am to find most shops open an hour later! All was done by midday so we stayed for lunch to enjoy the views posted. Drove back over the spectacular bridge at Runcorn for GP duty with Mr Busy.
Today I have my weekly meet up with friends though one is MIA as she’s been pinged. She’s had it, been doubled jabbed and takes part in a study for research. I’d have thought she’d be brimful of T cells with an impregnable Colgate ring of confidence but what do I know?
Your outing, Scentia, is my idea of perfect.
Is my first pic that of the Mexican grass discussed on Wednesday?
Hope everyone has the best day possible.

mumofmadboys Thu 15-Jul-21 07:19:06

Good morning all. Hope everyone has a good day. Been away in S Wales and not up to date with Gransnet. Hope Marydoll is doing ok. Meeting friends and walking to High Cup Nick today near Eden Valley. Take care all and enjoy the sun

dragonfly46 Thu 15-Jul-21 07:06:45

Good morning from a murky Leicestershire - where is the sun?

Coffee with friends this morning then home to make some date and coconut bars for our NWR Spanish evening tomorrow.

Wishing everyone a good day and our missing posters reappear.

Grammaretto Thu 15-Jul-21 07:00:18

Good morning from the Scottish Borders. I'm back from my holiday on the isle of Skye. We are lucky to live in such a beautiful country.
Nice to catch up with some of your doings.
Scentia you are such a good gran. smile
Espee I doubt you'll need a cardi today.
I have a day with nothing planned.
Enjoy yours whatever you do.

Alizarin Thu 15-Jul-21 06:55:43

Good morning from an already warm, sunny south Cornwall. Looks like plenty of hot weather over the next week, which I dread. Lovely for those on holiday though

Will take a coffee out to my patio in a minute and decide what shape my day will be until I go to my daughter-in-law's later to help with some paperwork. She has M.E. and finds it hard to concentrate. I had it in my 30's so can empathise.

The best of days everyone. Hope you're ok Marydoll.

cornergran Thu 15-Jul-21 06:52:20

Morning Mick, morning All from a sunny corner of Somerset

Did very little yesterday other than potter around before settling to read in the garden. We’re wandering out today before the busy Friday through to Monday traffic deters us.

Hope Thursday is kind to us all, take care everyone.

Jaxjacky Thu 15-Jul-21 06:45:19

Good morning all from a sunny S Hants, I had a lovely lunch at friends house yesterday, traffic in Lyndhurst was, as expected, very hectic. So cross with myself as I’d bought her some lovely flowers which I then left on our kitchen table! I’ve arranged a delivery of a similar bouquet and will donate these to DD.
Library and vape shop today, I have an overdue book as MrJ takes so long to read.
Enjoy your day all, definitely ??, hopefully the odd ??.

Esspee Thu 15-Jul-21 06:36:39

Good morning everyone. Blazing sunshine in Glasgow too which means I need to get my household chores done before it gets too warm.
Crossing the country to the east coast for a birthday meal later with friends. It is often much cooler there so must remember to take a cardi. I have a mug with the birthday boy’s photo on each side which I am very happy about. Thank you everyone who made suggestions. Whilst a bit naff the gifts we all give each other for ordinary birthday’s are little things and as it features a superb photo I took myself during our last day out I feel sure he will be pleased with it.
I hope everyone gets sunshine today. It makes most people happy and we all need more of that. Take care.

Dwmxwg Thu 15-Jul-21 06:32:19

Good morning from a sunny north Surrey.
Productive time at mum and dad’s with my cleaners hat on, much easier with them not being there. DSis is unwell but the made it to Windsor on their own, although dad said mum needed a fair bit of persuading. I will pop into today for a quick hello.
Boys here, haven’t seen them for 2 weeks and DGS2 looks taller ?. DGS1 is a very sensitive soul and he wanted to tell me about a problem at school, he spent ages drawing pictures to describe the situation and how he was feeling. I just hope I have given him the right advice and support.
Boys both still asleep. We have school run and dog walk and I have persuaded DH to visit a shop recommended by friend to look at sofas. Need to speak to DS as his carpenter friend has not come back with a quote for flooring and doors. Feel like I am walking through treacle to get this work started.
Will have school pick up this afternoon. May get the paddling pool out if it is as warm as promised.
Hoping to hear some news from Marydoll today, we are missing you.
Wishing all GMorningers a good day ☀️?
