Prince Harry’s Memoirs, should he or shouldn’t he

I know it is another Harry thread but …………

I am very sad to read that Prince Harry is going to write his memoirs, I suspect Meghan is behind the idea. I really don’t think he should, to me it feels as though he is constantly broadsiding the Royal family. We all have family difficulties but no good comes of putting it out there for everyone. He should just quietly get on with his life with his family and stop having a go. Anyway, are we really interested? I certainly won’t buy his book.

I totally agree with you Smileless2012, I think most people are finding this behaviour unfathomable to the point that nobody can believe one word either of these two say and thevRF have become very wary of having any conversation with them. Recollections seem to constantly differ!! I think it will be William who eventually calls Harry out, as it is clearly William that Harry is, (if he is,) trying to destroy, and it's only William who can rumble Harry as he is of the same generation and together with his children, has the most to lose. This is only my opinion of course, what do others think?

CafeAuLait
Why are you assuming his wife is behind it? He has a mind of his own.

Yes, I am assuming, she is very manipulative and if she says jump, he say how high. This was apparent in the Oprah interview. He should have a mind of his own but I fear he doesn’t!

Jabberwok Tue 20-Jul-21 16:19:26

I think Harry probably did have a mind of his own when they first met, but that mind has been slowly and meticulously taken over and manipulated, in other words brainwashed and fashioned into exactly what his wife wants and can use to make megga bucks. She obviously hates the RF for not putting her in pole position all the time and is using Harry's insecurities, resentment and vengeful feelings to bring them down particularly the Cambridge's.

Smileless2012 Tue 20-Jul-21 16:27:15

Very much like our ES Jabberwok minus the making "megga bucks" bit, although we did stump up for the deposit on their house before we were estranged, as did my brother before they estranged him too.

Coercive control now recognised in law for the destructive force it is.

Visgir1 Tue 20-Jul-21 16:30:29

He's definitely not doing himself any good. Thought they wanted a quite life?
BTW has there been any pictures released of his new baby?

Barmeyoldbat Tue 20-Jul-21 16:34:55

He will never make it up with his family now, they will be afraid anything they say will be broadcasted to the whole world. Also hear they are hoping to have their daughter christened,no chance of this happening now

Smileless2012 Tue 20-Jul-21 16:38:32

I think you're right Barmeyoldbat. Our ES and his wife aren't in a position to broadcast to the whole world but the trust has been broken and can never be fully repaired.

Namsnanny Tue 20-Jul-21 16:40:47

So I gather they want their daughter to be christened at Windsor, In front of the Queen.

I dont know if the wording was their choice, or an interpretation.
But the tone of it sounds very dictatorial to my ears.

Especially as the Queen wasn't invited last time (am I correct?).

Who would pay for it?

I do hope the general public dont fall for the idea that this is an occasion to get excited about, and line the streets.
After all there won't be much to see by the time all the restrictions are in place.

But I do think they're advisors have helped them play a very Machiavellian game.

If the RF refuse, H&M will scream from the rooftops, how they tried to mend bridges blah, blah, blah.
Or/and accuse them of being institutionalized, racist or some other inflammatory 'ism.

If the RF agree, there will be more chapters to add to the later book. All negative and myopic, about who said what when and how, and how it made them close to suicidal or lead to them nearly having a breakdown.

I can see it now, they rock up in $50 - 150,000 frocks.
With their camera ready plastic smiles.

Namsnanny Tue 20-Jul-21 16:41:57

they're = their

Smileless2012 Tue 20-Jul-21 16:48:03

TBH I don't think it would matter if they screamed "from the roof tops, how they tried to mend bridges" Namsnanny. You don't need to be the sharpest knife in the drawer to see them for what they are and for me anyway, my respect for the Queen and the rest of the RF would go way up, if they refuse to have them here for the Christening.

Jabberwok Tue 20-Jul-21 16:53:23

I'm really sorry to hear that Smileless2012. My DH 's family is pretty fractured but we manage to keep mainly on the outside! Going back to Prince Harry, it must be awful to feel this amount of vengeance and near hatred for people you once loved and respected, and who clearly felt the same for you. No wonder he always looks so unhappy.

muffinthemoo Tue 20-Jul-21 16:55:34

Well, this will be in the bargain bucket at The Works inside six months.

For security reason, he won’t be allowed to discuss his military service much and what else has he done, really? Been to Eton? He’s a young man to try and fill up a whole book.

Kamiso Tue 20-Jul-21 16:58:16

Sad that it’s come to this state of affairs. I read somewhere that when Diana took William and Harry to Alton Towers and Harry saw “normal” children there, he thought that’s how they lived on a daily basis!

We even bought a week of The Sun to get the vouchers to take our children there and lugged a picnic basket around with us to save buying expensive fast food.

He’s getting a tiny taste of the real world and I don’t think he likes it, especially now that the US tax authorities are looking at their affairs. They’ve registered Archewell in Nevada as they can then keep 95% of the charity money raised. No wonder the US has so much destitution and poverty.

I wonder if he will feel that all her Soho House sexperience is worth all that he’s lost, if and when he comes to his senses or she leaves him for a billionaire, or as currently suggested for Tom Cruise and Scientology!

I feel for HM after such a long reign, for it to be sullied by a two bit hustler who hit the jackpot.

Namsnanny Tue 20-Jul-21 16:58:17

I do feel much the same way Smileless2012. But I dont think the rest of the world does. Especially USA.

Lucca Tue 20-Jul-21 17:03:03

“ two bit hustler who hit the jackpot.”. Do you mean Meghan ?
I remember on one of many many many H and M threads sine one calling her a two bit actress. I still think it’s a horrible expression.

Smileless2012 Tue 20-Jul-21 17:08:08

Keeping on the outside is the best place to be Jabberwok.

"a two bit hustler who hit the jackpot" spot on Kamiso.

Well Namsnanny if you're going to be condemned for what people are accusing you of doing/not doing, regardless of any truth to the accusations, you might as well do something.

Those that don't believe a word that comes out of H & M's mouths wouldn't I'm sure criticise the RF and those that will, are doing so anyway based on the lies that are being told.

Jabberwok Tue 20-Jul-21 17:08:30

I think the Queen had a previous engagement booked months in advance at Archies christening. The Markles knew this but apparently couldn't change the date to suit H.M. This is only heresay as the Queen didn't go to Prince Louis's either. But it would seem that this time the Queen has been ordered to attend!! Are they serious? I can only suppose that it would be a money spinner at some point as neither of these two seem at all religious so on the face of it, why have her christened at all? I can't believe Archbishop Welby would want to officiate, after that wedding debacle? It's certainly put the RF in a spot though, damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Oh, I don't know Lucca. I think "Soho House sexperience" is going to be my new most horrible expression. Although I have no idea what it means.

Don't break the Royal rules George, Charlotte, Louis....they'll be after you with a pitchfork.....

Namsnanny Tue 20-Jul-21 17:19:54

Oh I dont know I think they'll (who?) be after you with a pitchfork has pretty nasty connotations too.

Lucca Tue 20-Jul-21 17:21:10

Oh my goodness I hadn’t seen that piece of slanderous cattiness.

Namsnanny Tue 20-Jul-21 17:21:31

*Damned if they do and damned if they dont^ I agree Jabberwok

Smileless2012 Tue 20-Jul-21 17:30:46

I can't help but come to the conclusion that the RF are enabling H & M by not saying anything in their own defence. Would H still be stupid enough to do this if he thought for one moment his family would come out all guns blazing?

No one's seen the "slanderous cattiness" yet Lucca as the book doesn't come out until next year.

Anniebach Tue 20-Jul-21 17:31:43

They haven’t broken any rules, they have betrayed his family and used his family to make money and garner publicity.

Lucca Tue 20-Jul-21 17:33:11

Oh I dont know I think they'll (who?) be after you with a pitchfork has pretty nasty connotations too.

Prompted by the many horrible comments.

They’re a young couple who have done some things wrong, have upset a family we don’t personally know, live their life in a way many don’t relate to or approve of. Yes all that but why so bitchy ? Two bit hustler , soho house experience etc etc,

Not showing women of a certain age in a great light
