I imagine Harry gives very little consideration to the impact of his actions, and if he does I suspect he believes he is vindicating his mother's memory.

Oh thank you Annie, I hope you are ok and not finding the heat too much. I will say that I agree with easybee that Harry probably considers his actions justified as he is vindicating his mothers memory.against the people who helped to kill her, as he sees it. But why aim all this at William? After all he wasn't responsible for his mothers perceived treatment. This can only be born out of jealousy or?!

I don’t really want to repeat myself, but I really do wonder what Harry is trying to achieve by writing this book. They already had Finding Freedom and the interview. What is he looking for that the exposure of the books, podcasts, and interviews haven’t given him? Will he finally feel free of whatever burdens he feels he carries after this book? It is indeed strange, to me, anyway. I cannot see how it is money, he’s always been used to having money. How does he think these books and interviews will impact on his children as they grow up? It all seems inconsidered to me.

Your right it isnt really the money. It isnt freedom from the press or the RF.

The only possible answer is he wants to be at least equal status to William.

If someone's prepared to publicly trash their family they should expect to receive criticism for doing so. He's been 'writing' this book for a year and only notified the Queen moments before there was to be a public announcement.

Didn't know you were a member of the thought police Lucca. Just because you don't agree with some of the comments made, doesn't mean they are neither thoughtful or serious.

I agree that he is a troubled man. If the book is anything like the Oprah interview it will be trash. If I were his GM, father or brother, I wouldn't want the Christening to be in the UK.

If his family are so awful, why would they want it to be.

Yes, I am assuming, she is very manipulative and if she says jump, he say how high. This was apparent in the Oprah interview. He should have a mind of his own but I fear he doesn’t!

As I don't know either of them personally, I won't make assumptions or do the default blame the wife/DIL thing.

Probably because all this only surfaced after he met Meghan, and escalated after his marriage. Like many others before him, he has seen things differently through his partner’s eyes.

Whether all that’s for the best is another matter.
