To be honest Sue, it was a mixture of garden stuff, household and stuff we needed in school! It wasnt the least bit difficult! ?

JaneJudge the First World problem is grumbling about not being able to buy bottled water when we are lucky to be able to access unlimited clean, safe water from a tap even if it may need filtering to remove the chlorine taste in some areas, as here.
This is in comparison to children who have to trek miles to access just filthy bacteria-laden drinking water so yes, it is a First World problem.

You are not the only one to have a child with an auto-immune disease on a restricted diet, now an adult but with the added complication of not being on mains water.

Posh bottled water comes in glass bottles btw. I’m assuming all those who consider it unnecessary to buy bottled water never buy wine, beer, gin, fruit juice, squash, or any other soft drinks, because they aren’t essential , and only drink tap water.

If wine came through the kitchen tap I'd probably drink that instead of buying it in bottles from the supermarket.

If wine came through the tap I'd be in serious trouble.

at Home Bargain confusion!

I ventured to Sainsbury’s this afternoon, on an unplanned trip. There was plenty of bottled water available and also soda water. Strangely, the shelves in the alcohol dept were empty of Sauvignon blanc, yet every other type of wine seemed fully stocked.

Oh, that post appeared, my previous longer one didn't.

We've been to Tescos this morning and there were no shortages of anything. There were even a few packs of bottled water in the food bank collection. I have heard this morning that Tescos are advertising for thousands of drivers.

I've been wondering about that too.

I don't drink alcohol, fruit juice, squash or any other soft drink. Presumably those who do buy them would be fine about being told to drink tap water instead.

I can't access clean, non-disgusting water from my taps. It's not the chlorine which contaminates it.

Why, oh why, are some posters so judgmental and imagine that everybody is in the same situation as they are?
