Things like grocery shopping, ordering clothes and shoes are well-known. What else can be achieved?

Communication: Emails. Particularly when several need to receive the message.

We had a lovely postcard the other day. Now that’s a rarity.

Can’t remember the last time I wrote or even typed and posted a letter to someone. DH still loves to write a letter (pen and ink too). He hates typing anything.

@tidyskatemum Thanks so very much for that! Will come in handy at Christmas. This time I've called this snail mail cheque (grrr, spit, hate) Summer Fun, to help the Grand fund her summer adventures before college, buy new garden furniture for her parents & the rest to be banked for whatever. I'm much too disabled to go there now so it's nice to gift from afar. Despite the distance we're all very close.

Goodness only knows how we would get by without all the online tech now! Really like the car parking apps, online private gp services, click and drop royal mail stuff.

I play Scrabble online with a friend who lives a long way from me and was alone during the lockdowns. And the National Archives sends me a little jigsaw to play online with its weekly newsletter.

I'm obsessed with comparing and reducing bills of all sorts. Insurance, utilities, shopping etc. all regularly reviewed to make sure I'm on the cheapest rate possible.

My savings go to charities. It feels good to make a difference in the world.

I look at property online too. Choosing/comparing is easy with virtual tours, street view on Google Maps and neighbour sold prices. I'd only visit the final selection before actually buying.

I used Royal Mail pick up when it was free but you have to pay for it now.

Tax returns. Car tax. Passport. Driving licence. Access Medical history. The list goes on. ?

It is only 70p!

I met my partner through a dating site and we’ve been together for 18 years now and are extremely happy.

I use my PC to create spelling resources and sell them worldwide via the website I also created. My printer was quite expensive but the compatible ink is very cheap.

As my family live abroad it was expensive to send gifts from here. Thanks to Google translate I can easily order from the “river” site in Spain and it’s cheaper and quicker to buy gifts for delivery to Portugal.

Oops apologies for quoting the OP. I’m engrossed in a murder story on the TV as well!
