Good Morning Everyone,
Its starting as a dry and clear day here in brackley this morning.
I want to see some of track cycling at the Olympics before I go on my first coach trip since the pandemic started in early 2020 .
Although it will be somewhat close to home to Windsor, when on arrival I will choose what I will do, and also hoping to meet old acquaintances from past coach trips.
Take Care,
Mick

maydonoz I will not be able to relax or do anything useful until they pull into our drive.

Ashcombe the cruise was timed so eldest AC could quarantine in our house (in peace and quiet) before starting his new job…

Now I am pleased we have never downsized DD and boys are here as she has new nightmare neighbours and has come for a mumcation whilst she house hunts.

We shall have a full and noisy home once again.

Good morning all from a somewhat cloudy Algarve, although they’re lifting as I write. At least it will give the poor firefighters slight respite as they battle in intense heat to control wildfire.
As we drove back from Albufeira yesterday,(urgent dentist visit!) there were at least three different columns of smoke rising on the horizon. Later I took a photograph of the bombeiros flying over with their bucket underneath and then had to hurry to message the family that we were fine.
I shall attempt to post a photograph but as I was looking directly into the sun it isn’t the best quality.

Having lost about 48hours internet this week, does anyone know how I can catch with Wednesday’s Good Morning thread? I seem to have missed some important happenings.

GG13 your post is positively beaming, how very lovely for you ?

LauraNorder Sat 07-Aug-21 13:16:38

Good afternoon from dry, breezy, overcast Anglesey.
I slept soundly for hours and hours until Orlin woke me just before noon. I think the general anaesthetic is still in play, none of the usual joint pain and feeling wonderful.
Thank you all for sympathetic messages yesterday, what a lovely bunch you are.
I’m sorry that I haven’t read through all the posts but I will do now.
Wishing everyone the best of days ?

Pleased to read your news too LauraNorder. It's good to have lots of the best of days to enjoy and be free of that pain. I wish you an infinite number of them ?
