Phoenix: An updated Thread.

My best memory of phoenix is the curse she wrote for the Idiot. A fair few people felt it resonated.

Marydoll you have brought tears to my eyes. I only ‘knew’ Phoenix through Gransnet but I always so enjoyed reading her posts. I thought she had a little longer to talk to us. Thank you for the update Marydoll, thank you so much for keeping us informed.

Not a regular poster but wanted to send my thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time.

Thank you for this Marydoll. Since joining Gransnet, Phoenix's posts have brought me much pleasure, and quite frequent merriment. I wish for her, peace and comfort.

GN is a poorer place without the anticipation of a Phoenix thread popping up. Always able to see the quirky, funny side of life and always so articulate in describing the events that tickled her.

Thank you Marydoll for keeping GN informed, and also Thank you to Phoenix friend for passing on the sad news.
Phoenix and her family are in my prayers.

I am very sad to read this, Marydoll. Pheonix sounded so upbeat in her last post that it seemed as though she would somehow get better. My thoughts are also with her.

So many reasons I will miss seeing posts from our dear friend. Whenever rooting through the active thread, there it would be, unmistakably a post from Phoenix, written in her own inimitable style whether posing a question or just sharing her thoughts on any particular.

My thanks also, Marydoll, and my thoughts are with Phoenix too. May she have peace and love surrounding her always.

Is it trivial or silly of me to be feeling sad for Minnie and Oliver Sprout at this time too?
They will know something is wrong - but have no understanding.
I understand Phoenix is sleeping most of the time and just hope her little cats are curled up nearby.

How very sad to think that vibrant, witty Phoenix is now so unwell.
