Have you noticed how much earlier it seems to be getting dark- and quite suddenly too.
I usually walk Rosie before bedtime, anytime between 9 and 10 but tonight it’s dark outside and not yet 9 o clock !
Autumn is really on the way it seems.

AGAA4

I like the cosy evenings of autumn and winter. In summer I feel a bit guilty if I am not doing something when the sun is shining still at 9pm.

Me too AGAA4. I love all the seasons and enjoy different lifestyles depending on the daylight hours. I’m looking forward to the longer nights when I can ‘clock off earlier’

The streetlights have just come on here at 8:45pm. I love it when the sun is still up at gone 10pm as it is in midsummer. Today has been grey and gloomy, though, and we have the CH on this evening.

Summer seems to have largely passed us by this year, apart from that brief sweltering period. Maybe I have just not noticed it, because I have spent the last few months helping my DD with her house renovation. It has definitely been a bit chilly over the last few days, though, and I am wearing a woolly jumper already!
