What advice would you give Katie Price?

Poor women. It looks like another relationship has gone terribly wrong.
I’ve always liked her and really hope she finds happiness one day.

On a wider note, ( & my sister is one ) why do some women think any man is better than no man?
I’m not suggesting KP thinks that, but plenty of women put up with such awful men, sometimes for their entire lives.

I don't think I can give advice to Katie Price, or anyone else, as my own life has hardly been a huge success. But I do just wonder why she feels the need for endless plastic surgery which has made her look worse, not better.

I can't even imagine the life KP has led. I'm sure sometimes she has made bad decisions, and mistakes (haven't we all). I feel sorry for her and the way she has been completely taken over by the celebrity/appearance culture and lifestyle. Her dependence on completely unreliable men is unfortunate.

What advice would I give her? Go and live quietly somewhere without a man in tow. Find a way to be happy without constant attention-seeking. It isn't going to happen, is it?

I know almost nothing about her. I’d probably advise her not to have any further cosmetic procedures but I doubt she’d be any more interested in me than I am in her, tbh.

I'm not sure what I would say to her because it is her life to live as she chooses. I don't think she is hurting anyone else. But sometimes I do feel sorry for her so I hope she can be happy.
What I like is that she doesnt really care what people say about her. She always bounces back and carries on. I haven't seen too much whingeing from her or teary eyes or any interviews blaming other people.

I think she's a troubled soul but underneath all i imagine that is a nice young woman who makes bad decisions.

It's a pity she and Peter André split up.

Callistemon Tue 24-Aug-21 15:02:58

Sorry,, typo!

Framilode Tue 24-Aug-21 15:09:23

I wouldn't give her any advice as she wouldn't listen.

It must be difficult to move on somehow from a life which was initially based on being young and attractive, and little else. The men in her life, with the exception perhaps of Peter Andre, have all leached from her and tried to make a career out of being Katie Price's ex. Andre isn't a lot better to be honest, a nice enough chap I think, but a bit of a nobody, one hit wonder, before he met her. Advice? Relax, you are a good mother, lay off the cosmetic surgery, don't feel your life has to be validated by having a man in it.

Should any of her children still be living with her ? She leads a very chaotic life and in my opinion is not a "good mother".
I remember a few years ago a national newspaper allegedly showed the state of her house and a swimming pool that was stinking. Surely children should be brought up in clean surroundings.

BlueBelle Tue 24-Aug-21 15:27:41

Ladyleftfield I think you are wrong about the children I think she is actually a caring mum and the kids all seem happy and caring
I feel sorry for her children, most of whom appear to have caring fathers. I think you may be slightly wrong her eldest sons father has had nothing to do with him since his birth Peter Andre certainly seems to have done a good job but I also think he is still fond of Katie Price I don’t know anything about the younger twos fathers involvement, but surely it’s testament to a good mother to allow the father involvement
and a positive relationship

Galaxy
Many years ago i worked with Samantha Fox through fund raising for MIND.
I found her to be a lovely, warm, caring hard working woman.
Don’t judge a book by its cover.

I'm not sure whether to feel sorry for KP or to think she must know she is just going from one disastrous relationship to another. I really wonder if she has any 'real' friends to advise her and tell her to love herself first before embarking on yet another potential messed up situation.

MissAdventure Tue 24-Aug-21 16:47:02

Certainly wrong info regarding Harvey, there.
His "father" ought to hang his head in shame, particularly if he sees what a lovely soul his son is, and how brilliant Katie is with him.

JaneJudge Tue 24-Aug-21 16:55:38

If her partner was domestically violent to her, I don't think it is her who needs to be discussed.

I saw the documentary and thought she was amazing with him but she is his Mum. Parents of children with disabilities become public property for people's unwarranted opinions of their parenting and most of those opinions come from people who haven't got a clue.

MissAdventure Tue 24-Aug-21 17:17:02

She is excellent with him.
The other children are accepting and very loving towards him, and the house is clean and tidy.
Go Katie! smile

Bridie22 Tue 24-Aug-21 18:04:12

you don't need a man in your life Katie, you and your lovely kids will be totally fine , time to put your big girl pants on and enjoy what you have.

seacliff Tue 24-Aug-21 18:13:23

My advice would be.....forgo men and procedures for at least 6 months. Just try and enjoy to your life in new ways. Also enjoy and treasure being with your Mum.

She was a naturally beautiful girl when young. Hope she can find happiness without needing a man

BlueBelle Tue 24-Aug-21 18:18:31

Thanks for posting the link MissA I watched that documentary when it was on and was very impressed with her patience, insight and downright honesty, If only she could believe in her abilities without her need for plastic surgery and men in her life

I think at heart she is a decent, kind, caring person who gets totally lost within her insecurities

Galaxy Tue 24-Aug-21 18:26:44

I am not judging them Meryl the exact opposite in fact, I am judging a society that puts children undressed in newspapers for the benefit of men.

Allsorts Tue 24-Aug-21 18:56:12

She wouldn’t listen to me, why should she. I do wish she would give up men for five years, learn to respect and love herself for what she is. Think the surgeons that keep taking her money are immoral. I believe she’s very insecure and has some type of personality disorder. She is kind, generous and very loving, she does everything to excess, gets taken in by men saying what she wants to hear. Mind flits from one thing to another, at tge moment a kind steady man would not interest her for long. How she will manage when her beloved mom dies I don’t know.

grannypiper Tue 24-Aug-21 19:07:09

I have no advice for her because i doubt for one moment she would take any advice. I feel sorry for Mum, she has to watch her Daughter make a mess of her health, body, relationship, career and children. Her poor children have had to put up with so many different men in their home. She needs to realise just what a mess she has made of their childhoods.

BlueBelle Tue 24-Aug-21 19:12:55

But has she Grannypiper the children all seem very balanced and happy and get on well with each other who are we to judge ?
