This is my first time on a forum, so hello!

This is my first time on this or any Forum so please bear with me! My daughter is a member of Netmums, I think that's the one, and suggested that I may enjoy being on Gransnet.
Do I need to introduce myself? We have two children and four grandchildren: they're all lovely and its delightful when they visit us in the northwest, but its also nice when they go back and we can have some peace and quiet!
I'm really looking forward to reading and taking part in the discussions.

Welcome Jane and Ullabirgitta. We are nice and friendly on here. My son's partner is Swedish, originally from Stockholm but has been living in the UK for many years. Her sister and family live near Malmo. I have two half Swedish grand-daughters!
